We all hate them for wasting our precious RL time (and money), but Just how many have you come across?
1. 5% standing whack per week (can lose you as much as 25 agent missions or more - cheer up!)
2. fetch and return, fetch and return (get my drift? & here's 500O slaves for your effort) oh joy!

Isn't any recreational activity nothing else BUT a time sink?
Doesn't that make this entire question rather pointless?

Eve is nothing but a time sink at the moment. Most fun activities have a goal. There are no goals in Eve right now. Alliances cannot truly own regions or solarsytems. Some people have the goal of getting a BS and getting the perfect loadout to kill NPC only to wake up one morning to find their beloved BS is nerfed and Pirates are now uber. So, there really is no point in aspiring to any kind of goal in EVE. It is really just a big waste of time, ATM.

Had an 'Important Mission' this morning. It gave 4.2075% corp standing and 1.683% Minmatar Republic standing. Which spawned derivative standing changes across across all factions.
Number of missions: 3

About goals, my usual answer once again : you have the means, but you have to set your own goals. That point makes Eve unique in my eyes, you have the unusual freedom to decide how you will play the game, and how you will have fun with it.
Now i can understand that not everyone is able of imagination, maybe it should be specified that it is required on the game boxes, within the requirements label.

Exception to the rule. Important missions are pretty rare, so far 1/30 or worse as far as I can figure.
Faction hits per week is too much. They should be per month or bi-weekly.
