I have looked everywhere
I have activated EVE voice and read FAQ which deals with connection issues mainly
I just want a frigging instruction page that tells me how to use it
I log in to EVE and , well nothng, all looks the same, I see an extra menu in sound menu(ESC menu) and I test voice, all ok
now what ?
p.s. after playing around I accidently right clicked on corp chat and saw an option to join voice chat, but nothing happened
are there any instructions on here ? If I don't get it going before my free trial runs out I won't be paying for it

lets see if i can help you :)
first, press escape and have a look at audio options. there should be an audio input section. make sure you have your mic/webcam/input device selected.
it should show an "input bar" on the screen that will move if it picks up sound from the mic.
it should be noted that usb devices sometimes are disconnected/reconnected by windows so you may have to check options if somethings not working.
there are mic boost settings which you can turn on if your mic is too quiet.
second, once you have your mic setup then when you are ingame, right click a tab and select "join audio".
and thats it. you should now be able to chat with the others in this window.
as an extra note you can change the options so that you have to press a button to talk which would be useful for large groups of people. this is off by default and you can select a key to press by hitting escape

the problem I have is the eve voice sound menu ingame is there sometimes then it's not
will have another look

My eve client ceased working nowhere near normally after I iniciated eve voice?!if I press esc I should not be sure that I will ever get out of the option screen as it lags stuck.. when I do the crtl-q exit it stucks up.. Only way to get out of eve (before it lags frozen) is to alt - tab to winamp and halt eve in the crtl-alt-del way
And by the way... 1+ inches distance from your mouth to the mic really matters! I put it almost in my mouth and then people heard me loud and clear

here's another question
My 2nd account hasn't got Eve Voice, which means I have to go into account management to activate it, when my trial is over do I pay once or twice to have voice on both ?
