The White Star Consortium (WSCN) is now seeking applicants of all ages and skill levels, We recruit people, not skillpoints. Trial accounts welcome. This is an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced pilots to join a group of friendly people develop and expand The White Star Consortium brand! About Us: The White Star Consortium has been around for some time now, roaming the galaxy from high sec to 0.0 space. Recently the corporation has come under new leadership, reforming and reorganizing the corporation to bring us to the start of our 2nd life and a new beginning. There are many oppertunities to grow in this corporation, so those of you which enjoy responsibilities and want to further the corporation, may find what they are looking for with The White Star Consortium. What We Do: - We are 'currently' an empire and low sec corp, based in the Solitude region. We are planning on the move back to 0.0 space with our own POS' eventually once we are up in numbers again, and found the 'right' alliance for us. We for one do not like empire and low sec, so trust us, we won't be here any longer than we need to. - We are a corporation with high moral values and do not condone piracy or cheating of any kind, so if you are deeply entrenched in either ore thieving, escrow scamming, gate ganking, logoffski or other forms of disreputable activities, look elsewhere. - Some of us may be miners, some may be called carebears, thruth is most of us see mining/ratting as a neccesary evil and no more then a means to an end. We are definatly not shy of a good fight, wich we have proven time and again defending our space and our friends from agressors in the alliances we have been in. - We have an Industrial and mining division as well as Navy and Marketing, We plan to be a fully self sufficient corp, both in terms of Military as well as Industrial and Financial. The structure is set, the plans are in motion and the corporation is in development, now all we need is to grow. There is no need to keep the captions; this template is to give you an idea of what information we are after, after you have an shown in interest in our corp and what a recruiter might ask of you in a chat. This is your opportunity to tell us why we need you in our corporation, don't waste it! Introduction Please put things like name and a short recap of your favoured ship class, pilot history etc here. Experience/history When did you gain your pod license? Which corps have you flown with before. Why did you leave them, what was good about them etc? Which areas of space have you spent time in? Who I am What kind of person are you? What makes you really mad and what makes you happy? Do you like smack? Do you prefer large gangs or solo play? Are you evil or nice? Do you have extensive planetside obligations or do you spend almost all your time in space? Add whatever you think will aid the rest of the corp in getting to know you and what kind of person you are. Skill inventory Not a list, just tell us what ships you like to fly and which kinds of weapons you prefer. Also put what skills you as a person have. Do you feel like you know how to survive in 0.0 on your own? Do you know lots of cool setups for a particular ship or how to strafe scramble with interceptors? Are you a master producer or trader? Anything you feel you as a person are good at goes here. Various questions This part you can not escape. No matter how you decided to format the above these questions need to be answered. They might seem somewhat unorthodox but are a very important tool for us to decide whether or not we make a good match: 1 ) What special characteristics should we consider about you? 2 ) For what have you been most frequently criticized? 3 ) How would you describe your ideal Eve session? 4 ) How do you earn the bulk of your ISK (including where)? 5 ) Do you sing on teamspeak while drunk or sober? 6 ) How many hours have you spent playing ôI spyö while bored at a camp or while mining? 7 ) What time zones do you usually play EVE in.
Rahvin Damodred The White Star Consortium	Posted - 2007.03.28 10:45:00 - [4] The Trial Period So you've read the brochure, had a meeting with a representative, and filled in the application. Talks and promises may be nice, but you dont really get to know people until you have actually spend time with them and flown with them. Every new member starts off on the trial period. We do not distinguish between someone who is 5 minutes out of the tutorial or has 3 years EVE experience. The trial period is there for you, to experience what our corporation is really like and if it fits your agenda and what you like to do with your time spend in EVE. The trial period is there for us, to see if the person we recruited fits into picture of what we like to be as a group. During the trial period you will be given the rank of Trainee and you are encouraged to look around, make friends and participate in our activities. You do not need to prove anything, or pass a test or exam or anything, all we ask of you is to be yourself and all will go fine. The trial period is around 14 days, and will end with a private chat with one of our directors followed by a promotion. Should you for whatever reason decide that White Star is not the corp for you afterall, our ways will part again, no questions asked , no hard feelings, afterall thats what the trial period is for.

Now older and wiser .... well older at least i made it up to director level helping this corp in shaping it's future Recieved an evemail from a former member: Keianhno Quote: Since leaving WSCN I have felt that, not only have I carried a piece of it in my heart since I have been in empire, but that I miss it terribly! I miss the easy chat in TS, I miss the small pvp operarions, I miss the huge open spaces of 0.0, but more than that I miss the people... I have never felt so comfortable in a corp as I did in White Star, and I believe never again shall I be made so welcome. And I also believe that leaving was one of the biggest mistakes I have made in EVE... A corp like White Star comes into your eve lifetime once in a blue moon... There is a core , a handful of players in this corp that stuck through with each other through thick and thin. I think they all feel the same thing i felt now. that there is something worthwhile about being in white star. Eventhough , things might not always be pretty and sometimes frustrating. So I would like to request a second-chance to join the corp... Did i mention yet we like getting mail like that ?

To bad about the whole fiasco down in the South in Omist and Tenerifis and getting caught up by the whole war between Goons and Lotka Voltera. They'll be back up on their feet in no time, i'm sure of it.
