Recently I boarded a slaver ship called Jesus the Miscreant.
While aboard I was sneaking through the bowels with an EVA-8.
Freeing slaves.
I ran into some trouble called kids.
They said they were primates and I ..."better leave else I'll go ham on thee."
Luckily I had a load of bubble gum to sate their strange and unusual zealous slavery.
On the way out, after gathering much needed intel. It occurred to me that matriculation training would be near impossible for these.
I am going to entertain the notion of lobotomies for these situations.
Indoctrinated slavery is a two lane street that goes one way.
A slaver and slave are both cosmically mirthless.
One human imagining knowing The Way while negating their own wisdom and life stream; Focused upon a slave.
In closure and with all the mercy of The Way.
Beware the young slave.
The immortality of youth presents pride in strange fashions.
The pride of seeing the others fall before you.
Sometimes that is all a soul has going for them.
As an adult one is any child's enemy.
A young slave only knows a masters grace.
Impressionable and enslaved it is a recipe for disaster.
During training they oft run to the master.
In exercises that's me. Because of my upbringing.
I used to take them aside and let them know they failed the exercise.
But that didn't work.
Now I take them aside and give them bubble gum.
That makes them act weird though. They think me weak and they are hard nosed slaves.
Lobotomies are next.
Don't give up the good fight freedom fighters.
It is easy to chew bubble gum.
It is harder to wield an EVA-8 inside the bowels of an Armageddon.

So, you are going to lobotomise the unruly youngling slaves?
And you think you are the hero here?

So, a pirate has boarded a vessel, ruined lives and is gloating over it. Where our cluster is falling down?...
I'll pray for their Souls.

It looks that way, doesn't it ?
I'm not sure on whether it is worse than the summary executions of slaves that some other Minmatar did, claiming that it was "better to die, than live as a slave". And, who are they to make that decision, you may ask.

I say those guys are equally despicable.

Oh God. He's gaining followers.
It's growing.
You Minmatar really need to get on that. Before you know it you'll have a whole movement of people high out of their minds babbling about fixing the universe with bubble gum.

Regarding the Scope News, 'fusion faiths' are just a natural reaction to the inadequacies of traditional Tribal spiritualism. Where gaps exist in teachings, where paths are closed due to outmoded norms, people will look to find a bridge. While I personally find that the 'Way' attributed to Ephesianos reaches into the realm of the absurd, perhaps what others find there is more a result of their 'read' than his 'tea leaves'.
Are the Matari not just as likely to inherently seek their own paths to self-actualization of belief as to meekly follow another's tradition? Who is to say that this 'Way' is the last stop of that journey? |

With all due respect Aldrith Shutaq, you are hardly in a position to tell any free Matari what to or not to do. That being said, would be okay if I dropped by Arzad for tea sometime? |
