Well my block list has about 20 people on it, it seems to double every time I go to Jita 
My contract block list hit 80 a while ago, sadly thats the cap.
How many people are on your block list?
Better yet, is there any Famous/Infamous eve players on your block list ?
lastly any corp mates on your block list?

None.
I always unblock people a day or two after I block them, simply because I think indefinite blocks are basically never justified and can lead to serious misunderstandings in chat channels.

None actually. I mentally block them out much the same way as I do with web ads and tv commercials.

everyone else that is recruiting in the recruitment channel, I like going afk for sometimes up to an hour at a time and when everyone else is blocked, i can still scroll up to my last message and see if anyone is looking for corp.

No people on my block lists either, if it is needed it is probably a temporary fix and good for 1 day mostly.
Good to have the tools however even if it is rarely needed.

in my 3 years if playing I;ve never felt need to block anyone only times its happend was when you;d hit enter to fast while a gang window was popping up :)
