Hi All,
I;ve been thinking of buying the covetor bpo, Where do i aquire the BPO and are they a good ship to make isk? through producing them?

i hear that there for sale in one of the 2 ORE stations down in 0.0, for 2 bil isk. along wit the other barges and some other mining goodies.not sure hwo true it is tho as i have enevr been down there my self. good luck in finding them .

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a rush on these, with lots of people wanting to invent hulks. 2 billion isk is a bit steep for me at the moment, although that does appear to be the base price for the bpo according to the item database. If I could, I'd probably take up Ricdic's offer, but for now I'd be happy just to buy up bpcs...

NEWS FLASH:
Covetor BPO's are being "claimed" at the jump gate.
The rush to invent Hulks as spread like wildfire. Several people today lost BPO's that were in their possession for less then 2 minutes in the Outer Ring. It was reported that the gates out are heavily camped at this time. Researched BPO's with ME as low as 15 were spotted in the BP channel for 2.6 billion isk.
The Covetor BPC 10 run prints have skyrocketed to 65 mil isk per print. This reporter personally witnessed 41 built Covetors on the market listed at 21 mil isk vanish in the blink of an eye. Several regions are reporting the built covetor fetching 30 mil isk.
The time to acquire a Covetor BPO was before the latest patch notes. Single copies will still fetch 2.5 mil, but as Covetor stocks on the market dwindle, even this is in question.
This reporter was told that the smart Covetor BPO holders are now making 10 run copies and are no longer producing, due to the new profit margins afforded copies. Inventors are snapping them up at 65 mil plus and reporting a better then 50% chance of success of inventing Hulk BPC's.
The sale of Exhumers skill books has increased, as the Macroneese anticipate a glut on the market. We would not be surprised to see Hulks in a belt near you.

Above news flash is a load of BS - Hulk invention chance is 25-30% even with maxed skills, best decryptor, t1 item, max run covetor bpc etc. You can't get better than 25-30%
more than 50% chance? yeah right.

My info is coming directly from inventors that buy my prints. Are they BS'ing me? Maybe, but I'll take their word for it, as they have direct knowledge. Where is your info coming from?

If you own a Covetor BPO and are selling prints... wouldn't you want to feed false information about the dangers of obtaining a Covetor BPO in order to prevent people from attempting to fly to Outer Ring to buy one become a direct competitor to your jacked up print prices?
I have not been able to locate a single killboard post the has a Covetor BPO listed on the killmail. Can you provide a link to the organization that is rapidly popping Covetor BPO purchasers?
If they do get popped... the should have prepared better... Ares/Crusader w/ 4x Overdrive Injectors, 2x Speed Rigs, and a Gistii A-Type MWD (possibly a cloak for added safety) can easily turn a profit shuttling Covetor BPO's to empire for those without the fortitude to do it themselves.

You'd still need to get a character there to generate cyno fields(but this would seem to be easier than getting a BPO out since losing a ship isn't the end of the world).
