Should involve red - well OV have always been red :p I like the style of calais sig (v cool dude) and could perhaps (but not a pre req) use the Octavian Vanguard logo (www.octavianvanguard.net). The OV bit is better, now make the nick the same size, dress to left and see if you can put the logo kind of faded behind the ship to the left also but the height of the sig.
