im sorry if this type of thread has been going lately but im not sure what is right to get
Im pure Gallente through and through, i have T2 in all hybrids and i have T2 drones so im good at both.
but i not sure whats the best that will fit me, i love blasters but i wouldn't get a Demeios becoz it cant really tank so i would go for a ishtar.
so thats where im getting my logic from. Thats whats drawing me to the Eos but there is not alot of posts for that ship.
if i had a eos i would either nos tank it of i would fit a mix between blasters and nos, with the best of both worlds.
any help will put me out of my misery and......... i'll love you long time

Both are excellent ships. Eos is versatile as anything, Astarte has potential for almost the highest raw DPS in game.
My advice? Get both, they're not very expensive

If your like me you got really good drone skills, which would mean Eos > Astarte.

It honestly depends on what u are aiming for. Both are great for pvp, but the Astarte has more punch but Eos is a great gang support ship if used right. The Eos is a bit "harder" to train because most people dont want to waste the time on logistics ships but in the end its not that bad.
I currently fly an Eos for lvl 4 mission and love it, its a great ship in general and im now training up my heavy assault ship skill so i can try out the astarte for pure blaster dps.

I've been flying Astartes for quite some time and I can safely say that the EOS is more powerful 1v1 boat than the Astarte, partly because it tanks better with NOS and is still able to real a brick-load of damage...
I lost an Astarte to an EOS in a 1v1 to the author of the vid linked above and it was a pretty clear with for the EOS tbh...
In gangs the Astarte can be really useful because of its pure damage power...

lol you sods, im not tapping at my mouse for that linky for the EOS fights haha only another 43mins to go.
na you all have all good points and what i like to hear is.... That both ships are good
So im going to aim for the Eos first think a logistic ship might come in handy :P oh and green is my favorite color haha

It's a tricky choice and depends on the situation imo.
If I'm going solo up against a battleship or another command ship then I'll generally dig out the astarte and get her done and MWDing away before re-inforcements come in.
If I know it's going to be a longer fight or I need an extra sensor booster to snag a BC/cruiser at a gate then I'll take the Eos. With the tank etc I generally fit afterburner on it due to wanting to keep some cap so if I engage in that then I need to make damn sure I'm not going to get jumped on.

EOS is cheaper, can take a beating and has a great drone bay bonus. You can set it with rails or blasters, but remember she's slow to warp out if things turn bad.

eos is only better when ur a nos monkey and have maxed drones... otherways.... astarte pwns it whit raw dps
