Great to see the game getting some proper mainstream coverage. Now all we need is a Top Gear style show for games, making it cool and not the usual snidey nerdy poke at gamers!

Ah, cheers, wasn't sure how to link directly.
Impressive though it is to even see Eve mentioned on the BBC website, when CCP are talking to big broadcasters like that, they could have something a little bit more exciting to show them TBH. That interview didn't really set the world alight.

Have to agree, just doing some belt ratting isn't really BBC worthy material.. He should have showed a small gang fight, or maybe some solo piracy.. The things that get your blood boil with adrenaline...

IIRC this is a clip from 'Click', a weekly show on the BBC24 news channel. Eve gets more than its due share of media attention because it has no pointy eared characters, though of course Second Life is absurdly hyped because it is not a wargame and therefore Politically Correct.
