I love how all you wannabe pirates call people in .3 .4 sec areas carebears. It really is a riot considering they live in those zones and most if not all the rules of engagement favor the pirate. Yet you guys call yerselves outlaws and think yer awesome lolol. Half the pirates I have seen sit around gates and the moment they get a fight back they jump away. They get cornered they hang out at stations la la.
I tell ya what as soon as ccp changes the bounty system so that anyone who has a bounty put on their head is killable in any sec system then you may just graduate to pirate-well some of you. You guys fly around trying to instegate people into shooting you so you have the sec forces on yer side, ya thats crafty for those of you without the skills to back yer own E-Peen up. Then theres the other half of you sitting at gate camps killing haulers and such ooooooo sceeeery. Half of you butt pirates don't even have the right to call people in those areas carebears cause yer the carebears. Step into yer big pants and go tangle with some alliance peeps and see how quickly yer arse gets handed to you in a paper bag.
To all the real pirates who actually go looking for a fight and fight it I salute you. To all the tards who pretend to be "Pirates" go drink bleach or something..who knows it may be entertaining.
I will be updating this post with lists of wannabe losers soon enough. So all you tard gets yer sniffle cloth out yer about to get burned!

i find it hilariously ironic that ur posting this with an alt because ur obviously afraid of posting with ur main.
on a side note. yes there are always going to be panzy noob piwates about that smacktalk and run from any actual fights but they are vastly outnumbered by decent pvp'ers that thrive from a challenge.
plus, i pure pirate is someone who isn't necessarily a hardcore pvp'er, it can just be someone who makes a living from ransoms and loot. a challenging fight can be lost and that is bad for business.
and i'm pretty sure very few ppl would shout carebear to someone living in .3 (edit) or .4 systems. high sec maybe but i didn't quite get that bit.

As per Dictionary.com, a pirate is:
1. a person who robs or commits illegal violence at sea or on the shores of the sea.
2. a ship used by such persons.
Just FYI, most pirates prayed on merchant ships, ie haulers. They fought when the odds favored them and ran to port and harbors when out gunned/manned or skilled.
Pirates do not have honor nor do they care to have honor. Pirates loot, steal, kill and plunder. The dont play fair. Pirates of the caribbean had a great quote, when Jack and Will are fighting, and will starts cryin, "you cheated" the simple reply of Jack is "Pirate". Now quit your crying and get over it.

Of course...and there are smack talking alliance members, and potty mouth anti pirates..but the few do not represent.
Definition of a pirate (imo) is someone with enough skills to solo kill, and enjoy it 
Ore thief is not a pirate...its like knocking on someones door and running off, just a pain.
When the OP achieves those levels, he may understand pirates a little better.
Most pirates are experienced pvp'rs that can chose targets well and solo hunt, this is why they sometimes get blobbed by guys that are not so sure about their abilities...and rely on numbers.
Of course there are anti pirates that are equal if not more skilled. Try pirate for a few months, you will soon see that it is not all fun and games, being hunted by fleets/gangs/gank squads hate mail threats etc.
..hmm I think I am have gone a bit off topic...
most people whine when they meet a pirate for the first time, but think twice...did he kill you fast...did you even see him coming...how did he find you in that belt out of 30...
It takes skill. I am ex pirate now, (btw pirates kill pirates..they kill anything )...but I will always salute the guys out there still doing it.

Edit: oh and on the gate ganking thing...of course I did it. Usual drill was me and Blue S sitting on a gate, Phon and Ferox...it was for light entertainment, and a lot of isk. Yes camping is easy, going 1v1 and seeing your ship in 20% struct causes gray hairs Its fun to chill out at a gate and make a few hundred mil

when in belts, I always warp to 70KM. why? because in my few weeks playtime I've found it's warping to 0KM in belts that will get you killed. You'll be fighting two rat cruisers, they will appear next to you and then warp scramble and do whatever they do. and you will die.
Lure the NPCs away from the belt a bit, it's not hard they will lock you at 70KM even, and start coming towards you. When mr pirate warps in hoping to see a 'carebare' that's brave enough to go into low sec fighting some rats, they will see you 50km away, and then they will see you warping to safety.
It takes a bit longer but it reduces the chance of getting killed to 0% (so far...!) as opposed to the certain deaths I would have faced had I not done this.
FYI when I was doing this with 2 cruiser spawns in a 0.4 system I saw a pirate and another pirate warp almost on top of each other while I was way out fighting, they proceeded to kill each other, with the thorax eventually getting blown by some minnie cruiser, rupture or something, was a great looking fight though. After they were both quite cordial, and I was quite warping out of there ^.^
SO what I'm really saying is, as new players we (mathematically) don't stand a chance against long term pirates if we go into combat with them 1v1. They know this, too! so, just don't give them the chance to attack you, and be careful :)
But I would agree, it takes more guts to go into 0.4 space as a newb than it does to act the predator on said newbs as they are attacking a spawn of rats. Remember, they will chose the rules of engagement, unless you chose them first :)

Like clockwork the predictability of loser carebears with their arrogant, self-important superiority complexes always presents itself in every one of their posts. Especially when they're attacked by other players.
Carebears like Ares are unimaginative, inarticulate and so amazingly boring that it's almost a chore to reply (almost). They always seem to want everything to be done *for* them (omg, why don't gate guns work? omg, where's CONCORD in my .4 system?) and whine incessently about 'pretend' pirates and crow about how all players who don't measure up to their idea of a 'real' pirate to be 'fakes and gank bears' etc.
Quite frankly I rarely see pirates complaining or whining about how unfair the combat system is in Eve, even though it is *heavily* weighted in favor of the defender (never before has it been so increadably easy to avoid combat). And when they do complain, it's usually with completely valid information to back up their claims.
How many posts do you see from pirates extolling the percieved incompetence of carebears or anti-pirates every time one of them does something that didn't work out exactly as they planned it? Hardly any. Which is good, otherwise this forum would be clogged to the gills with such posts (lol).
One player makes a failed attempt to attack a carebear and suddenly said carebear is a tactical combat genious, whos amazing prowess and insane skills allowed him to prevail over the vile and corrupt 1m SP noob pirate with his T1 frig and no scram.
Can I get an 'amen'?

I dont give a **** what other's call my crew or me. We do mining, missions, mine in deep space, rat in deepspace and tag along in some pvp in our local area with our good friends in other corps.
We prefer to call purselves Industrialists and Scientists this is our true call along with drumparties meditating upon cryztals and relaxing rythms.

Go into Low Sec at your own peril, be ready for flight or fight, and never expect anyone to risk their life in a fair fight.
Not everyone who goes in, comes out.... Thats why its more profitable and the return is higher....
