Fellow capsuleers,
A couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to meet a young Jin-Mei holoreelmaker named Yi Zhen. Mr. Zhen, or Yeezh as he is known to his friends, immediately impressed me with his fervent belief in the idea of fundamental human rights. The intensity with which he expressed those beliefs could have, to some other person, be frightening or seem manic. To me it didn't seem manic. In Yeezh it didn't seem out of place. In him it simply seemed...right somehow. It was if he was being consumed by some righteous fire, the glow from which was invigorating and inspiring. In fact it was his influence which set me on the path which eventually led me to The Star Fraction.
Two years ago Yeezh disappeared. His family knew nothing of where he might have gone, but his partner told me that Yeezh had gone somewhere into the Amarr Empire to work on his newest documentary. It seemed strange that he would drop so completely out of sight, but as he was nowhere to be found, and had left no clues as to his exact whereabouts I didn't pursue the matter.
Last month I received a special delivery from Amarr Prime. The crates contained a great amount of holoreels and a note from Yeezh. It simply said that he had been working undercover in the Empire in order to expose some of the horrendous human rights violations that go on within its borders. He said that his cover had been blown and that "someone" would be coming for him within days. He had managed to convince a Gallentean freighter captain to take the crates on his boat, but the captain had not wanted to risk taking Yeezh on as well.
To cut a long story short, I had another reelmaker friend of mine process the material and we decided to honour Yeezh's memory by releasing what was obviously his last work. For clarity's sake the end product is in three parts, each of which deals with a specific form of human rights violations, both against Matari slaves and against subjects of the Amarr Empire.

The first reel, which is already showing in underground reelhouses on some planets of the Empire, deals with the treatment of Matari slaves. Specifically it deals with the claims of many Amarri militias that these slaves are re-educated. The sordid fact is that any "education" these poor souls enjoy is administered through methods no other civilization would consider right, proper or humane.
The other two reels are still being worked on but will be released as soon as they are ready. Notifications will be made in this thread.

The work on the second feature has taken a bit longer than me and the team anticipated. Yeezh had many fine qualities, but good organization was not one of them. In any case, the second film, Dulce Et Decorum Est has finally hit theatres in both the Empire and the Republic, where it has garnered some favourable reviews.

The second reel explores another facet of Imperial mistreatment of human beings, albeit through proxies. In the reel Zhen talks with a number of people who've served on spaceships of Amarri militias, mainly those of PIE inc. For reasons of unseeing faith or simple indifference to fellow humans, the militia captains in many cases turn a blind eye to matters of the safety and security of those poor souls working for them. There is for example a heartrending interview with an elderly Ni-Kunni woman who lost her husband and three children when an Amarri captain intentionally destroyed his vessel rather then let it fall into the hands of his enemies - he is still flying but his crewmembers are not.

Wonderful work. The Star Fraction has some incredible members for you to be able to speak so honestly and openly on freedom. I know many groups that would send one packing for such a front to convention and the status quo. Comendable, I will be sure to see these titles and send copies where ever I think your voice will be heard.

Your mind resides in a fluffy world where sin is rewarded with a pat on the head and a good word. It is evident that your mysterious contact has spent too much time on his presentation and too little on his fact gathering.
Your sources are unreliable, from a person you haven't heard from in two years. All of a sudden you receive propaganda and never question how it was fabricated. This person has commited clear calumny against the Empire.
Where is your free-thought? You never questioned the validity of his claims? You never weighed them against the overwhelming evidence that he is lying. You clearly show a hidden interest in defaming the empire by whatever means you can find.
If you wished to know firsthand about slave re-education, you should contact Delictum 23216 or the House of Marek, as some members in our ranks have gone through the programmes. Indeed, some capsuleers were once slaves on non-descript planets. Enlightenment, followed by great potential, led them to take their service to a celestial level.
When you feel cold, burn this propaganda, and it will achieve its loftiest fate.

Would that "Great Calumny" be that these Holoreels reveal the sordid truth known to all but those enmeshed in the oppressive web that the Empire is Scagga ?
Instead of addressing the Holoreels themselves you try to drag the maker through the mud and then throw chaff in our eyes by pointing to some sanitized camps that still would make any sane and thinking being retch in disgust.
Make sure to get better instructions from your masters and perhaps the counterpunch you are trying to deliver will be a smidge more effective

Every once in a while someone tries to use the old medium of cinema for political propaganda. Usually portraying a distorted vision of reality suiting the political purposes of the filmakers patrons.
This is nothing more than a film originating from the bowels of the Gallentean inteligence community. Disemminating disinformation is their psychological department's modus operandi. It has their fingerprints all over.
I cant believe they would go to the extent of torturing Minmatar slaves on film in order to portray abuse by their Amarr slavemasters.
Have you ever been to a S.E.P. facility? The Mandate runs a state of the art slave training facility. Any citizen of Amarr can compare this Disinformation Videos, which are nothing more than political ****, to the schools in the Mandate. Or to any other training facility in the Empire.

Well an enslaved individual is not free to leave the "training" facility to go live his life, so by definition enslavement is itself a form of abuse.
Beatings and torture etc are additional abuse.
Enslavement within the Empire cannot be considered a form of criminal punishment since some individuals are enslaved from birth with no crime committed.

Your conspiracy theories aside, do you have an proof the events in this film are fabricated or staged?

Even if all S.E.P. facilities are humane and sanitary, last I checked, S.E.P. doesn't have a monopoly on slave possession in the Empire. Infact, S.E.P. processes a very small fraction of the slaves in the Empire, and after slaves are sold by these S.E.P. facilities to various holders throught the Empire, they are completely at the mercy (which all too often is non-existent) of their master. The sad fact is unless the slaves take it upon themselves to revolt, or by the grace of god freedom fighters chance upon them, slaves can be subjected to any sick and twisted whim their master may have; with little to no reprecussions from the authorities.

Finally, a genuine part of your statement. Glad to see that you admit to seeing slaves as objects; not human beings with feelings, emotions, and thoughts.......entirely dispicable, but at least you're honest.
