I don't seem to be getting the 400% boost to drone mining yield when the Rorqual T1 Industrial Core is engaged?
Age does not diminish the extreme disappointment of having a scoop of ice cream fall from the cone.

As far as I tested the mining bonus on mining drones is working, but it is not shown in the show info window.
Please send a bug report, if your tests show something different.

Thanks - that probably makes sense, as I felt I was getting more ore then the "mining amount" indicated. I'll pay close attention during our group test early next week.

I'll pay close attention during our group test early next week. EDIT - The asteroids are popping before a drone mining cycle completes, so I haven't been able to verify the m3 yield. We'll keep trying.
Assign one drone to each asteroid, that should help you out somewhat.

Re-tested this with one excavator drone, and did maths by hand. The following results would then be the total yields for 5 drones:
without Indy core - 54.8 m3/sec
with Indy core - 329.1 m3/sec (holy mining yield batman!)

I have done alot of testing with the new Rorq and love the changes...
With Max all Level 5 skills, T2Core, x2 T2 Mining drone rigs an 1 T1... the Very best you can Yield =
8,768m3 per Drone // 45,024m3 per set of 5 Drones,Per 90 Seconds cycle. 
Ice Drones = 9-10sec cycle time, so 5 units of ice per 9-10sec per set of 5 drones 
A lot of you might be like WOW, but I think it is where it needs to be... it will be a lot of investment both skills and Isk, also risk to set this up right on TQ.
the fact u need to compress so often keeps you active and becomes more like a mini game as you see that ore hold fill up with isk 
With 2 T2 Drone Navs in the mids, I had the ore drones moving at 607m/s but tbh you should be MWD/Warping to a spot where you want to mine and cycle Green for a few cycles till its done, then flash red and move to the next spot
I also think the cost of the mining drones should reflect just how good these drones are to use, and think the mats cost both T2 and drone Mats are spot on, and where they should be.
Bravo CCP for making mining Good.

Yeah, each excavator drone is going to be about as powerful as an exhumer.
I imagine there are people already testing a new mining meta of rorquals in the belts, vacuuming up all the useful stuff in one cycle and returning to a citadel before "The Bad Guys" can get three systems down the pipe.

On that note, last night I tried out the Porpoise amd since I didn't have advanced mining drone trained (man yet another book..) I used t2 mining drones.
Jeebus, don't you feed them?? They eat rocks like children eat candy on Halloween.
I can only imagine what excavator drones are like but if regular mining drones are any indication, this will be nasty.
Paired with the new engineering complexes, even more capitals and supers on a 2 weeks basis.
