If you keep assisting people they will get to the stage they will be looking for your assist when they get a dec and may start to contact you if they don't see an assist, build this up to getting a little isk for your time and increase the numbers in your corp...don't start by asking for isk...get a rep and sell that. Try and keep your assists geographically centered to increase target saturation to a region or at least a smaller area permitting you better odds of finding a war target...rinse and repeat. It will take time but if you put the time in it will come. Best of luck. RB

Realize you have a lot of competition out there and that some of the merc companies/alliances actually know what they are doing. You need to make a name for yourself, find a niche and ride that like a drunk prom date if you want to get anywhere in this game. Also realize that when you advertise, everyone in C+P will go check killboards. That is just how it is. And you also need to have a very thick skin when doing merc work. But you gotta spend money to make money.
