Whats some cool ideas for CCP could do on April 1st....?
a) Tell everybody the server incharge of skill has blew up, been hacked or so on - everybodys skill records have been lost forever. People panic as they log on to 900,000 skill points and go nutz... eve war of the Ibis's begins.
b) Concord go on strike or turns pirate, turning empire into a 0.0 concord gankfest on gates.
c) All stations in Jita are removed.
d) Everybody's wallet shows only 1ISK
Just for the day... :) Any you can think of?

Bring the server down all day, and give the message "Gone to the Pub, Back in 1 hour" to people trying to log in :) |

Post patch notes that says that Amarr will be boosted by raising 10-20% of total cap in their ships.

Put the looping server start up timer on for a period of several hours (the one that counts down to 0 and then goes back to 5 seconds or something, repeatedly).
Make the sec status of Jita appear to be 0.0, but keep it as high sec and see how many people get CONCORDOKKENED.
Have random noob ships show up with Titan models - but only to the person piloting it, so no one else believes them.

Or all ship models and cameras inverted. Ships fly backwards and everything appears upside down. Nausea FTW!
Amarr given +25% Kinetic damage to all laser weapons.
Oveur dies during a massive drinking session. Coroner reports death as a hidious accident involving, A lilo, 15 litres of beer, some pretty office junior and the now iconic pink wig.

What about announcing Microsoft has bought out CCP with changes to be implimented such as production team replacemnt with the team who brought out "Freelancer" haha.

Remove Concord and all gate sentry guns for 1 whole day 
They shouldn't tell anyone, let people figure it out by themselves. Jita will have a few kills at first, but soon it'll be a giant bloodbath.

Turn off security ratings for all systems...
Jita and Rens now 0.0 rating. Added to this, dock limitation. Docking limited to once every 30 mins.
Then, turn all offensive weapons' active range to 1km.
Watch the melee combat ensue.

this entire thread is a testement to "lets see how many petitions we can rack up in the space of half a day, because we already have a grip on the existing petition que."
April fools is likely to have a "information" based prank, or none at all. as in, "hi, weve sold the rights to EVE Online to SOE. cyas" or "I'd like you all to welcome our new joint lead developer/Forum Moderator, Derek Smart.". anything else is likely to generate such a flood of petitions it would make the GMs just up and leave.

yeah your right, i thought about this but if they knew it was a prank they'd most likly ignore all petitons relating to that day (as long as it was something that didnt cause everyone to loose ships, isk or training time)... I do like the "all ships pink" idea... i think that would be pretty funny.
I hope they come up with something remotly amusing for april fools.

Make it so those who undock from a station or enter a gate Exits in a specilised Deadspace zone that is impossable to win with so everyone gets there ships blown up eventually ending up with a 100k + player wrecks.
Of course i wont log on that day.

Put him in a remote 0.0 system in space at a unscannable agent in space thing and.
Make it that whoever finds the agent first gets the BPO but it vanishes after one day.

Its already HAPPENING! On a player-by-player basis people are seeing their friends as Bald Naked Women instead of normal routine character pictures!
For example, my frined Mr. X is a gallete male, and now is a Amarr Naked Bald Chick!
