i want to transfer a toon that is CEO and sole member of her corp. when i try to do hat, i get an error pointing at my credit card, which is fine though. i petitioned, but this is rather urgent...
do i need to have her leave the corp first?
if so, is the corp lost? i don't have another toon with the required skill to be CEO... |

Corporation management 1 train on alt on the same account. bout 10 minutes.
Join the corp with the alt.
Login under current CEO right click Resign as CEO
Pick the new guy. appoint him CEO.
Pick quit corp wait 24 hours
then you can leave for NPC corp and transfer character.
Do not need to have the CEO to have high skill the corp will stay the same untill you will not update the corp details with the new guy.
Standings stay the same for 7 down times then they will recalculate |

Note that if the alt is a different race you might also need to train Corp management to 2 and ethnic relations to 1.

If there's just one pilot in your corp to hand over CEO rights to, then that pilot does NOT need corp management skills. Only if there's more than 1 to choose from does the intended one need the skills. so you can create an alt, join corp, resign and make him CEO just fine.

Yeah new CEO needs no corp management skills - corp will continue with its current settings till the new CEO hits the update with my skills button. |

Actually, that's two different things. If you want to assign a new CEO while having more than 2 people in corp the new CEO must have skills in order to make the switch.
