I was thiniking if you're a bilioneare . And your corp m8es aren't soo good in pvp coud you hire some mercs to guard you 23/7 for let's say 1-2 weeks .
Woud any merc corp dispach let's say 2 deimos pilots to be in your gang 23/7 . Is there any merc corp capable of such a thing .
Woud you do it ? Coud you take on the borederoom that involves escorting someone trough EVE . Waching the guy mine rat and protecting him every second of your time ?
How much woud you charge for that ?

Sounds pretty relaxing, i'd charge two things though.
Collateral for my ship (so I can be sure I won't get backstabbed by my employer), and alot of isk for the time and dedication :)
We are talking about several hundred mill, ofcourse, and with a collateral payment down on my ship i'd be more than happy to go down burning.

Wouldnt any sensible merc corp take shifts
aka
1 guy does 2 hours 1 guy does 1 they start at the same time after 1 hour is over they send some1 else to go to him for 2 hours then an hour later the other guy swaps etc etc so youve always got a man with you and another 10-15 mins on his way.

Take my word on it, going without sleep for days is not a good thing. I had a 2month project due in class, and i procrastinated till the end and spent 4-5days without sleep and hyped up on energy drinks. At the end my energy drink was GLOWING, and I do mean GLOW as in it was emitting an errie glow. I have a feeling watching a phycotic squirrel called Foamy (google it if you must) didn't help much either.

alternating shifts like i said using all or most of the members in the corp so the corp is working and not only a few selected which probally wont get all the cash so better for everyone

Look up Peter Tripp. See what his life became after going without sleep for a week.
It's not common knowledge but I guess it's relatively common, that some people can withstand extraordinary amounts of pain, any means of torture at all - except sleep deprivation. No one is immune to lack of sleep.
All in all, not sleeping - a lot worse than being a wreck for a while. Could kill ya. ----- :::Need to be cleaned:::

I've done 5 days with no sleep (and little food) when I was younger (hell I'm only 23 now...) and it's...like you stop existing. I thought it would be a fun/extreme thing to do but it took me weeks to recover, it was utterly stupid. I played star trek armada for like 50 hours non-stop too, I can't do that kind of thing anymore :S

Sarcasm from the other thread noted.
Aggression is pretty common, as is hallucination - you literally start to dream while you're awake.
Tripp told colleagues while he was doing his run that he could see spiders all over the inside of his shoe. They'd also observe his eyes flitting around, whether this was due to actual REM while he was awake or whether he was watching the images that weren't there is uncertain.
After he was done he lost his job, his wife, and his home, because he never recovered from the mental damage. He was basically an ******* for the rest of his life.
Edit: Yes Blue Azur I'm re-derailing, and yes Kublai that means I truly, honestly, and utterly hate ponies. ----- :::Need to be cleaned:::

6 pilots in a rotating shift, 2 at a time. Hmm I would offer this:
100Mil per hour per pilot, so thats 2.4bil per pilot per day, that would be 16.8Bil per pilot per week,
Coming to 67.2Bil for two weeks for both pilots 24hours per day. Upfront payment of 600Mil for 2 HAC's and fittings.
7 payments of 9,668,000,000.00 to be made every 2 days
Total payment: 67.676Bil
Just what i would charge.

100Mil per hour per pilot,
laugh
most mercs work for a few million per hour.... 100 mil per hour is more than it would cost to higher a good but smaller merc corp... i.e. you could hire all of KIA for less than 2.4 bil a day.. which would be 2-15 people at a given time.
btw this thread is stupid... you get rich by being smart about money, why would you rat for 10 mil isk an hour, and pay someone else to follow you around and protect you for 15 mil isk an hour, thats a net loss. This thread reminds me of something my 2 year old would ask me.
