Well guys I'd like to say gf to all was a lot of fun, damm shame we had a nasty visit from the lag monster but damm good fight.

I actually happened to run into this conflict today. Was looking for a place to offload some modules for a bit of profit, looked at the map to see where the crowds were in Solitude, and set my course. When I got to the system, I was glad to see that there were 58 others somewhere in local, which seemed to be the "hot spot" for the region. Little did I know, until I warped to the station, that all 58 of those other people were waging their own private war outside of it.
Anyway, looked like a ton of fun. Was nice to see GUN bringing in the dreadnought and other capitals and using them on the front line. Biggest fight I'd run across in quite a while.

Dunno why you are talking about the node. Most of my guys could not even get shots off. I was averaging 1 frame every 10 seconds. People could not control theor ships, and getting no response at all even from modules. Noone on our side could even select an enemy pilot from the overview. The node was defo on your side on this. Dont mind bieng beaten fair and sqaure (and to be fair you guys probably would have come out ahead in the end) but that was just depressing. I have no idea how the hell I managed to make it out alive. I guess it's becasue I had my hardeners running before the lag bit.

Because the lag was so bad that none of our pilots could target the enemy either.

I apologize for the lack of GFs in local at the end of the fight. For most of us it was impossible to do anything in game when it was over.
For anyone interested in kills/deaths we make every effort to keep The Cartel kb as accurate as possible.
I will edit this post in a few minutes with a link to a battle report.

Very entertaining fleet battle. The first half was great until the lag hit. Suddenly I found myself seeing my screen change 1 frame every 20-60 seconds... hearing targets being called in Vent that have not even warped in yet. *chuckles*
Talk about lag...
Never the less, good fight and sportsmanship from everyone... except the pesky neutral ninja looters >_<
