Yesterday night, I explored some of systems (mainly low sec).
total : 14 system gravimatric : 3 signature magetometric : 2 signature RADAR : 1 sig unknown : 8
Some system has multiful signals. I think it is quite boosted number than before.
But, In my opinion, 1.4 really boosted invention so there is lot of demand of data interface, decryptors and skill books. I'm not satisfied on ratio of RADAR site that have hacking cans. As you know, decryptor price are really skyrocketed.
I think it will be bettet to change ratio of 'unknown' and 'RADAR'.

You are lucky, since 3 days, i scan 15-20 systems per day and found mostly Gravimatric & Unknown signature with drone plex (in blood region).
Radar is 1 to 3 per week maxium in my area. Never get Ladar, and Magetometric is much rare than radar.

So yea.... I would kill for finds like that. In my normal 20 or so 0.0 systems I find maybe 2 Unknowns a night.
Actually.. theres basically no chance you found 14 signals in 14 systems.

Edited by: ShinChan on 29/03/2007 09:41:21 Hehe, at least you get radar signals...Being scanning non-stop after patch and only found 3 radar signals, all 3 in same system lol. After I completed those 6 days ago, I still have to find another one haha... 0.0 is full of unknown signals, every system I scan there an unknown signal, EVERY SYSTEM.
So far I have found since patch day:
Radar: 3 (same system) Magneto: 3 Gravimetric: 3 Unknown: 50 Ladar: 1
It's pathetic, the devs already knew noone wanna do these waste of time plexes and they flew us with them? Of those 50 signals I picked up the ones in same system as radar/magneto signals, completed them and only 1 gave us an escalation, and it died at 3rd step: DEAD END. Ja! Fracking pathetic!

You guys are being a little illogical about this.
1) There are apparently sites that people aren't interested in doing. 2) Sites don't clear until someone does them. 3) If people don't do the unpopular sites of course there will eventually be more of those types.
Kind of a no brainer.
So running around counting the different types and then lambasting CCP for not getting the ratio right is... a bit silly to put it nicely.
As long as people are turning their noses up at particular types of sites, it doesn't make sense to compare the spawning ratios. It's a loaded result right off the bat. All site types would have to be cleared regularly for us to be able to see if the spawn ratio is too slanted or not.
If anything it simply highlights which site types need some lovin.

Edited by: ShinChan on 29/03/2007 12:07:35 Roy, have you ever done exploration at all after patch? First day after patch I found these 3 radar signals, completed them and I still have to find new ones in the entire region. Instead, new Unknown signals appeared, plus the lot of them have already been there since patch day. So in my region (75% of it, scanning constelations before moving to net constelation) there are only unknown and gravimetric signals ( 1 grav every 10 unknowns). We completed few unknown signals and new unknown signals appeared. We completed radar/magneto signals and new unknown signals appeared.
Since patch I completed more unknown signals that any other kind. So cut the crap out about the ratio if you have no idea how it works.

I've done quite alot of exploration since the patch. I found a Radar site just last night. Since the patch I've cleared several unknowns which have since been replaced by gravs. Point? There isn't one because it's a flawed measurement.
It's not crap. It's logic.
And thanks for proving my point within your own post. "Instead, new Unknown signals appeared, plus the lot of them have already been there since patch day".
They don't get cleared there's no opportunity for another type to spawn. Therefore listing any ratio is flawed. That's all.
It's not that I disagree with your sentiment. I disagree with your logic. But whatever.
2 solutions to this I see: - CCP ups the rewards for the currently unattractive sites. OR - CCP gives each site a max Time To Live so they will eventually fade out and get replaced with something else if people refuse to clear them.
I imagine that CCP intends for certain types to be rarer, however they will inherently be even more rare if all sites aren't getting cleared at the same rate. Eventually there will be mostly the crap sites. It's the inevitable progression of such a system with the current player reaction to it. /shrug

I wonder what will happen to the loot of the sites anyway. E.g. radar sites: all this tweaking in the drop rates for the invention whiners resulted in an increased rate of everything. So you have more interface BPCs and more parts to build them and more datacores. The only stuff which is used up are the datacores but the rest? The interfaces stay in game forever. So after the market is saturated the prices for interfaces and parts for building them will drop into nothingness. So there will be no reason whatsoever to run a Radar site in half a year or so!
Did I miss something? So when the spawn rate of radar site is increased there will be no reason to run a radar site in 2 months.

Personally, they should be reduced. If interfaces are going to replace T2 BPO's, the interfaces should be rare and expensive like the BPO's. Flooding the market with interfaces where they cost next to nothing is not a smart choice imho.

they can simply increase bpo rig T2 or part for produce T2 bpo or decryptors part currently i have found 4 bpo but i can build any since i miss some part (i can buy on the market that's certain) The value is also very interresting, after build it i can sell them for 300/400Mil (maybe price drop, check 15 days ago) I haven't found any skillbooks too.
Since last patch most radar give me rig bpo or salvage item
