Race Results: Molden Heath
In the final race of the Republic Circuit, Molden Heath was alive with the flurry of activity as racers screamed through the waypoints. The Angel Cartel wasn't holding back either, as completely unprotected systems near the edge of Minmatar space were rife with brutal thugs patrolling the asteroid belts. While they only managed to dislodge JumpDrive Inc.'s rekcuT J, many of the league veterans were reporting heavy damage to their hulls. Statist Kazuo Ishugiro experienced a fifteen minute power failure that left him stranded in the middle of nowhere, yet remained confident to compete in the following circuit. Here are the results for this week's race:

I'm back from vacation and ready to resume racing. Its a shame I missed the Republic circuit, but I intend to make up for it in the Empire - the lion's den so to speak.

Good day to you Ms. Rho!
I find this competition quite intriguing, and wish to know more...
That being said- here are some specific questions I have:
1) Where can I find information on these events?
2) Do you need to meet any criteria for competing?
3) Ships allowed- Frigates, T2 Frigates?, Faction Frigates?
And then how is this done, I take it contestants begin at said start location, and race to the end, following the route specified? Any combat seen during these competitions (between competitors)?

Do they have to pick stuff up from containers to varify that they'v pased a checkpoint?

While I realise you asked your questions directly to the organisation of these events I think I can answer some of them myself, as veteran in this very League, and save Ms. Rho a little bit of work.

Currently the only vessels allowed for racing are T1 frigates (no T2 nor faction).

Although combat is allowed between competitors during the race, the fact is I haven't witnessed any aggression between racers whatsoever since the start of Season Two. Back in Season One, however, there were several instances when competitors did target and shoot at each other.
