Anckee Battle Report 3/28/07 (ANT v GUNs)

Commander Nikolas Gallente Arcana Imperii Ltd. The Cartel.	Posted - 2007.03.29 02:37:00 - [1] Today The Cartel engadged Antigo Dominian in the system Anckee. The battle was over the medium POS Antigo have in system. The POS left reinforced early in the day and was successfully defended and repaired by Antigo. The engadgment at the POS resulted in the loss of a Cartel Blackbird. After several hours of a standoff both fleet engadged at the NPC station in Ankee. The battle started with a mass undock by guns from the NPC station and the deployment of our capital ships. The battle lasted for roughly 30 minutes. Antigo sustained heavy casualties during the fight. Losing: 9 Battleships, 4 Battle Cruisers, + change. The Cartel suffered only minor losses: 1 Command Ship, 1 Battleship, + change. After the first 10 minutes of fighting the lag was so bad that most pilots were recieving roughly 1 frame per minute. Much respect to the Antigo pilots.

We have no reputation of smalking our opponents infact we generally receive the opposite. if AIL have been smalking without it been noticed then ill kick some heads. 2nd) This was a Cartel op. Any accusations made at AIL will be taken by the whole alliance. 3rd) if you check the thread that was started IMMIDIATLY after this battle Linkage You will see we were actually been wished good fight. My experience with A-I-L stems back to before they entered your alliance. What I described in my first post was standard battle procedure for A-I-L troops before they entered any alliance. It is entirely possible that John McAvoy was finally able to put a lid on his guys. Anyhow, I'll let you guys get back to your thread without further interuptions from me.

Now that would be my kind of smacking.. To those talking about AIL.. We ran into AIL a year ago, and I will admit there was some smack involved in that war, though not an increadable amount. However in this one they have been nothing but professional and utterly smack free. Leave the past in the past on this one becasue I think they have learned their lessons on that. All to the good.
