I emailed them, and of course, no reply, they don't reply, its that simple. Since I started this thread I have sent in 3 emails. So the public forum helps to inform new people to the game that its fraud, thats what purpose it serves, GM's want me to stop posting so that I don't inform people that the company is fraudulant and once they get your billing information they will automatically renew your account no matter how many times you cancel it.

At what point do you plan on re-imbursing me for the overcharges for both the accounts of the $35.95 per account for a total of $71.90? At what point do you plan on emailing me showing me you acknowledge the fact you got the emails and are doing something productive to resolve this situation? At what point are you going to change my account status's from pending cancelation to canceled and no longer bill me? At what point are you going to fix your billing application so that when someone cancels you don't activate the account back up? Wiz_Zumwalt and Obitus are my two accounts.

I seriously think this is between you and CCP. If this wasn't a mistake and happened regularly there would be hell to pay. Also since it's a legal issue and not something particularly Eve-y, I'm not sure everyone is really that interested.

1) I canceled my account some time ago and have had no problems, so please don't make unbased generalizations like that.
2) The email you recieved is for a FREE reactivation of the account, that is why it lasts for ONE WEEK. Darkspace does it all the time(that is how I am posting with a canceled account).
3) 35 dollars per account is a bit high, does your company wait 3 months to send you a bill? It is 11 a month or something along those lines, how did it spike to 35?

Thoron, talk to your cred card company, tell them to stop payment to them.
I'm pretty sure they will lock this thread as well for you posting what you emailed to the mods. The reason to do it via email is so you don't clutter up the forums w/ your personal problems.

There are 3 other people that I know of with the same issue and they will probably be posting here soon, and both my accounts show 'cancel pending' since I canceled them, then they showed active after each billing cycle, then I had to go to cancel again and get cancel pending, so its facts of there system, even the GM stated in the other thread that on each billing cycle they automatically renew billing which in fact tells me they change you from cancel pending to active until they do something internal to cancel the account.
Public is the best place to post the information for perspective players who need to know about the billing process that is not mentioned, there is nothing in any of the user EULA that states that CCP is allowed at there sole descression to continue to bill you and keep enabling your account without your permission. And they have done just that, keeps billing me after cancel request that I did prior to the billing cycle and I also emailed them prior to the billing cycle per the EULA and they have yet to respond.
Those of you who love the game, won't matter to you how long they bill you, for they can bill you for life and you wouldn't care, but those of you who wish to cancel, better figure out a way to do it, because there cancel process does not work, I have spoken to a few people here in the US who have tried to cancel with the same results as me, they cancel the billing, it says pending then on next billing cycle, just like the GM posted, they renew the billing and change them from cancel pending to active and bill them.

Well, like I said, the best way to make sure you don't get billed, is to have your cred card/bank stop any payments to them. After multiple cancel requests and the inability to get money from you, they will just cancel your account for "lack of payments".
Then just comes the fact of your credit history, but thats when you stick it to them about the fact they tried to keep billing you. I had this very thing happen once w/ an online answering machine company, they never canceled my account and then tried to get another year's of service billing from me. After a month or so of them hassling me, they got contacted by my lawyer and soon after I was told that they have canceled my account and this will not go on my credit history. Later on I did some research and found they had a serious problem with letting customers go and thousands of others were doing the same action I was.

Personally i was smart. I bought a visa gift card for meself so i wouldnt have to use my credit card. I just cant trust anyone with my accounts. maybe u should have thought of tht thoron. ------------------------------------------------

Eve's seen thousands of bugs, wouldnt supprise me if there was one in the subscription cancilation process =P
But seriously, I know 2 people personally who have cancled their accounts with no problem and it just sounds like; out of the thousands of customers CCP deals with, a few are having communitaction problems.
Have you tried using the "Ask a Question" under support? I usually get a very prompt responce (within 2-3 days)
