To be honest...it doesn't really matter. ALL Cov Ops Frigates, regardless of race, are just as good as each other for scouting, safe spot location, exploration, spying, and being mobile warp in points. As long as you've got a cov ops cloak and probe launcher fitted (and maybe an MWD to get you out of tight spots...ie. Interdictor bubbles), they all do the job.
If, however, you are crazy enough to want to engage the enemy in your cov ops frig and risk losing the VERY expensive cov ops cloak....you may need to do a bit more research. I love a good frigate in the morning. |

I don't fly covops frigs, but basically from what I've heard they aren't designed to tackle unless you like putting an 80mil cloak on the line for something a frigate/inty could do. Basically if it can cloak, probe and skulk around (which they all can) then it doesn't matter.
That being said though, most ppl I know fly the cheetah because the speed does help in some situations.

It's a game where we fly around in eggs with tubes up our arses. If I want reality I'll go outside.

Edited by: Gaius Vitellius on 29/03/2007 15:48:41 I fly cloaked ships all the time. The above posters have it dead on, you don't risk an 80m isk cloak on a ship that a reaper can 1v1. Avoid combat like the plague.
Cloak + Scan probes in high. (possibly a remote armor repper to fix your buddies drones after the fight) Throw a MWD in the mids. You can flip it once (activate/deactivate back to back) and cloak. This gives you an initial burst of speed that gets you away from where you cloaked faster.
Lows are pretty much for speed mods. Though I have thought of putting Warp Stabs in those slots to ensure even insta-lockers can't scram me. (which works because of rule #1, NO COMBAT)
