When I try to refine/recycle stuff, I get the message station holds you in 0.0 standing and therefore we take 5% of all refines/recycles. Any way of getting this down plz?

Can you please list what I can do then to increase standing, preferably not missions thou.

The only thing you can do is missions for the corporation in question.
Derivative standings have been removed, os killing tonnes of NPC's won't do much :(

i did lv 3 agen missions for a day and managed to get it from 2.5% to 1.2% :)

I got mine to 0.0% with 7.0+ standing.

Is there any chance that this could be changed to "corporation" instead of "personal" standing?

Also the "connections" skill is suppose to help you raise your personal faction with npc corps but its broken. Papa Smurf said it will be looked at once CCP gets back from holiday

The connections skill does work but it wasnt being recorded correctly. If you get the 1360 patch it is supposed to show the updated factions.
But I know the skill works as I have access to agents that require a standing higher then I had before I trained the skill to lv 3.

It does NOT work in refrence to this topic...
i.e connections skill does not raise your effective standing in regard to station take.
BTW. Formula for station take is:
5% - (.75*standing).
That is corp standing, not faction or agent standing. i.e if station is duvolle labs then your duvolle labs standing affects station take.

Conections does affect how the corp sees you , so fewer missions are needed to gain a higher faction to that corp , which in turn lowers their take % faster . Connectons is very beneficial for a refiner running missions.
Your Mega Afocal Pulse Maser I perfectly strikes Asteroid (Veldspar) [R0ME], wrecking for 798.3 damage.
Your 425mm Railgun I perfectly strikes Guardian Captain, wrecking for 685.9 damage.

i've bug repped referinies in relation to the connections skill.
effective relations should be exactly that, effective relations
