Lots of people here are proposing changes to various ships.
Some of which the DEV's agree with and we may see these changes implemented in future patches.
These changes however may well invalidate the rigs I have fitted to the ships that have been changed. I can't remove them without them being destroyed, well over 100mil isk worth :s.
Have CCP considered this and recognise it as a problem.
My suggestion is when the patch is released every ship that has had ammendments to it has its rigs removed and placed in a persons hanger (or something very similar as I don't know how much work would be involved).
This is the only thing that suffers with this problem in the game due to the numerous times ships get rebalanced and it will be he first time with rigs being involved. (I don't see attribute enhancers or hardwirings being changed in the future ;) )
What are other peoples thoughts with this.

Might need to give some more details there. i have no idea what changing devs have agreed with that could affect any rig choices atm.

Nothing specific that I know of. Just if it happens.
Just for example if powergrid on beam lasers is reduced. I might not need 3 ancilliary current routers. I will be left will all rig slots full and oodles of powergrid that I don't need and to remove them I waste 100mil isk or so.
Its a just in case, and it doesn't have to be changes in rigs, but also in ships and modules that can make the rigs you use currently worthless to you when the patch comes out.

Sounds like a good idea, donno how hard it would be to implement as I'm not sure how the database works.
