Surreptitious Privateers Privateer Alliance	Posted - 2007.03.31 00:03:00 - [1] As far back as the 14th century Privateers have been entering into contracts with governments, organizations and indivduals for warfare services. Also known as the infamous letter of marque & reprisal. Our recently created Privateer Alliance is continuing the tradition into this century. We are formally throwing our privateer service into the mercenary/contract ring. We are accepting empire based contracts. Of course as has come to be expected of us we throw a twist into what has become a stale business environment beyond the MC. The Privateer Alliance will accept contracts for nothing more than the cost of the war declaration. We will make our money, at least attempt to, from the loot we acquire. This is the perect opportunity for anyone looking to harass an alliance/corp in empire, anyone looking to bolster their #'s against an existing war target, heck even anyone with a little isk and a grudge. I guarantee complete anonymity should you so choose, even send the isk with an alt and a note if youd like. Because we are new to this and carry several other wars we can not guarantee anything past harassment of your target in empire systems. We can however guarantee we will seek out targets, cover pretty much all of empire space and never let a target simply fly by. We are a full PVP alliance of 30 corps and @700 people growing in both members and corps everyday. We are use to warfare with several large organizations simultaneously and have adapted well becoming quite effective. I cant post a killboard link but I can post a link to the EVE-O thread that has ours listed, I hope I can I realise our offer is uniqe and not for everyone but judging by how many inquiries we have already received, there is a market out there. Maybe in Rev 2.0 one of the governments will try to hire you to pirate another. Or maybe right now one group will hire you to pirate another. Small suggestion to Coalition command. Seems like more corps leave privateers than join judging by the amount of retracted war mails. Cover all of empire? I only ever see privateers in a scattering of hub systems. Only when they outnumber their targets are they out from their hiding holes, waiting with their weapons primed to blow up your shuttle while your still staring at a 'checking navigational systems' bar. I don't know whats worse: Jita, or "pvp'ing" in jita daily. Mildly annoying yes, effective? Doubtful. Best of luck to you guys, let me know when your prepared to leave 0.9

Remember? And just so you know, the Privateers attacked shipping lanes to disrupt the enemies ability to get or move supplies during wartime. You've decided to war dec everyone just so you can hide in a station until you outnumber them 10 to 1. There's a big difference. It's sort of like you're claiming to be bounty hunters that don't let people just "Fly by" when I've waved at you flying by numerous times. And then the second there's a hint of a decent fight where you might actually lose a ship, you retreat and call in the cavalry. Don't claim you're something you aren't... You're cowards who get people to pay you to harass them.

A lot of the participants in both sides of your war, and the "Great War" have associated members (alts) all over the place. getting a reliable estimate on active participants would be extremely difficult to manage, unless you've contacted everyone you've declared war upon and asked them the status of active members... It was easy because it was so cheap. Since the recent enhancement its a bit more pricey. So we have to return to being selective. But fear not we will get around to you all, just wait your turn.
