I know interdictor spheres pull you in but do mobile warp disruptors do the same?

ya game mechanic wise they are identical, they do the exact same thing. Only thing is how to deploy them and how many KM they effect

so wait, if u are warping and go over a warp disruption shere/bubble, u will be pulled out of warp, and inhibited from entering warp again?

A bubble can only pull you out of warp and trap you if: 1. it is online before you initiate warp 2. it is in the same grid as your warp exit (i.e. you can see the bubble and the stargate at the same time) 3. it is in line of your warp path extended to infinity (so warping to 100 km won't work)
A bubble will not stop you in mid-warp. ----- woot woot.. woooooot!! |

So when you come out of warp, and get trapped by a bubble... do you get trapped right in the middle of the sphere (where the emitter is)?

I usually end up at the edge of the bubble. ----------------------

Edited by: Chan Zhen on 31/03/2007 21:15:43 when it pulls you out of warp, your ship still has forward momentum, so it appears to pull you in.

As to why you are asking this..
as a dictor, you can click warp.. then right before it happens drop the bubble. Future people will get stuck in, but you will warp out safely.

This doesn't answer technical questions, but it's a great guide for new interdictor pilots, or anyone who wants to know more about them.
