Edited by: Glassback on 31/03/2007 16:43:32 Hello,
I need some advice regarding a house move recently...
Basically on the day of completion there was a delay from the first person and their solicitors which cuased a two day delay. We paid the required 2 days interest as laid out in the contracts, but the person i bought off is now asking for monies towards their extra legal costs and moving costs etc.
Do they have any claim?
BTW I did not cause the delay, it was my buyers buyer.
Thanks in advance!!

Providing you have fulfilled the contract. They do not have a claim for "extras". Simple as that.
