From latest Vivox press release:
Vivox« Teams With CCP To Offer Webcamera integration in EVE-Online
Vivox, Inc., together with CCP Games and WW, today introduced its Webcamera integration project to embed real time video images of players to it's EVE Online online game.
The new feature is designed to provide the players with powerful and streamlined webcamera integration environment that gives better immersion to the game world. The integerated video chat service is one of the first in the world of MMOs and will be available for testing in June 2007 to all subscribers of EVE Online.

This would actually be hilarious. Imagine some Command & Conquer-esque window popping on the top right corner when you are attacking some poor miner and they start screaming profanities while jumping around on the webcam with foam spewing on their keyboard. |

that's great, the only reason i'm thinking of getting the voice thing is so when i'm killing somebody who's almost totaly defensless i can open a voice convo with them and just go "lololololololololololololololololololololol"
