Why is it so goddamn hard to find pvp in this game? I'm getting increasingly frustrated with spending hours searching for something to fight, going on ops is all well and good, but personally I get as much enjoyment out of ganking someone 15vs1 as I do being ganked. 0.0, it's either gank or be ganked. I've tried just about every aspect of pvp in eve, and I'm finding that good fights are becoming few and far between.
So I ask you; do you still get good pvp? A fun fight, small gang vs small gang? Or am I the only one who doesn't enjoy the gank warfare that dominates the game at the moment?
I don't understand the paranoia of losing a ship that everyone seems to have in eve at the moment. Isn't it more about the fun of the fight? Why else do you pvp, if not for the fun of the fight?

I was tracking a belt ratting group in indegrule (sp) the other day. its a big pos system so its easy to hide in the belts since the pos ships clutter the scanner. I was interested in ransoming their tanaris pilot and taking my chances with an interceptor for the first time (first time agressing anyways)
I warp in and scramble the tanaris in my vexor and get within 10km and I proceed to nos the **** out of him. By now his team mates have warped out so I get him to hull and ransom him for 10 mill. He responds that he and his friends are safe.
They warp back in. Noobs fresh from the academy in various t1 frigs. I kill the tanaris and proceed to lay waste to the rest of them except for this incursus that warped in at the last minute and got out when every one else went down.
I really enjoyed making that tanaris pilot eat his hat so to speak. By assuring that he and his friends were safe.

You sa1d it all. I can only suggest you go to LowSec systems infamous for activity. I would imagine a map check with pod kills might be instructive.

I am finding pvp in various lowsec belts, and I expect it to improve as the number of targets I have a chance of beating will increase with my skills.
I like systems with lots of belts and few to no stations.

Well i don't think it's as bad as u make out but they are harder to find. you say u don't enjoy ganking 15 v 1 then don't. if u are solo killing npc'ers and it's easy then take out a smaller ship for a challenge. if there are gank squads about then take a gank squad out.
I often get decent fights but u do have to avoid the blobs if ur not in 1 urself and when u are in a blob then ur unlikely to have fun.

Some of the best fights i have had have been in the past few days, Me and a mate in our ceptors bombing round d2 space. So far weve only killed a daredevil, a malediction, and a wolf, but damn its been fun :)

I love small gang and 1v1 PVP fights, but sadly these days it's almost impossible to come by. Now my fun consists of ripping apart mission runners and picking the bones of their ship's wrecks clean of modules and squishing their pods.
Because I said so...
