T3 is supposed to be the highly specialized ships, not good for much other than their intended design.
For example, a T3 Apoc could get 20% bonus to mining yield per level of amarr BS trained ;). Also, it may get a bonus to cargo hold. Effective, no?
T3 Mammoth; has ability to use covert ops cloak, but lower amount of cargo slots.
T3 Raven: While this ship is your active ship, and you are logged off you gain 10m isk per hour * Isk Generating Skill Level
On a more serious note, I wouldn't expect to see them for another few years, considering I haven't seen them in the past 3, and they've always been chirped about. Expect T2 BS, T2 versions of the new BC, and T2 Dreads/Carriers first.

"Noah “Hammerhead” Ward: If you’re talking about new playable races then I’m going to have to disappoint you and say no. No new playable races are planned in the foreseeable future. We are, however, working on populating the world with art assets from the ancient races (Sleepers, Takmahl, Talocan and Yan Jung). These races have a rich history that the players will be able to uncover through exploration. You can already see the impact of the ancient races in current exploration sites. Eventually, when Tech III ships are released, you will see their full influence."
Yeah, it mensions T3 ships.
The german part starts out with something about flying in Formations, then Level 5 Missions, Planned PVP Updates, New Races being Planned [To which the English part says there aren't, just glanced over it, it's just like a babelfished question of the english one], ANOTHER Server Upgrade, Ideas planned for the future, Why would you want to play EVE.
And then I got to page 4, and I realized it was all in English from there, so go read it yourself.

Don't you mean a T2 Dominix?
And then the T3 version....
Me, it's the T2 Raven, just to see all the whining on the forums by non-Caldari
And then the T3 Raven for the "I'm leaving EVE if this isn't fixed" posts

"She can'nae take no more!" is a cry many have heard from a certain brusque faux-Scots engineer over the years, and it's one you may be screaming at your monitor when CCP introduces module overclocking, or rather, Heat. EVE TV's Ifni chats with Tuxford and Hammerhead on how combat might be affected and what the future course is for Tech III and, perhaps, beyond.
You take what is offered. And that must sometimes be enough. |
