Since the DD is really overpowered in the current mechanics of eve being that module lag is usually more than the warning you get perhaps a module that negates(you take no dmg) the DD effect is in order.
This would also help the people who have titans. So think before you post.

Tbh its suppose to be overpowered its kinda in the name. Also iirc a decently tank BS can survive its blast and most cap ships survive.

Assault Destroyers should be implemented into the game and have a shield bubble launcher that acts like a POS shield for a short amount of time with a good amount of HP. It'd be great to see the cyno go down and the DD start coming through and one of these puppies drops the bubble and absorbs the majority if not all of the DD.

I like the concept of the DD, since it is an anti-blob device, but is it really fair the way it is? I think if they implemented it like it is in Ender's Game (when Ender first uses their weapon against the bugs).
Thus, the Titan has to target a target, and the DD hits that target and anything in X range (say 20km for an arbitrary number) of that ship gets hit, and any ship that is in X range of those ships get hit, etc...and does a chain reaction. Same anti-blob effect, yet it takes some brains to use it (pick a good target), and it also gives the people on the receiving end a chance of survival.
Ah well, just a thought.

...hmm i think the name say's it all.
Oh yeah a BS fitted to resist the DD specific damage type will survive. Same for capital ship.

Even a well skilled pilot flying a plated BS, or Extended BS would survive, given just average resists.
