If you are trying to buy below market price.... why would they sell it? Why not just sell it on the market? I don't get it. I have tons of minerals... and I know a bunch of miners but I don't see why I would want to take an offer like this.

Well the person paying below buy order price is pricing based on buy orders in their system. So if you are going to their system anyhow you could sell to buy orders in that system for more, since they are blatantly telling you they are paying less than buy order price.
I am asking a question that I figured there was a real answer to. I figure I am missing something as to why people take a loss intentionally. Telling me to go away doesn't help... answering my question would make me go away. But answering it with a false answer that makes no sense isn't what I want. And I'm not asking this just for myself.. I'm asking it for several miner friends who are trying to understand this as well. If there is some good reason to give away part of your profit then please explain it... that's all I want. You can already go to a single location to get within 2% of the highest price on each mineral... so location really is not an answer that makes sense. I'd imagine it has to do with creating a long term relationship with someone? But what does that kind of relationship get you except for a loss of 5-10% profits or whatever it is you agree to?
This is a real question that I would like an answer to from someone who takes part in such things. Especially if you can explain to some sort of mathematical benefit in the long run.
