Ok, now that thats got peoples attention.
what i really want to know is why FORUM scamming is legal, and why the scammer doesn't get a forum ban.
I feel that scamming IN GAME is perfectly fine. Well, not fine, but its something that is allowed.
i mean, in game you can't put fake bids on contracts, or anythin glike that.
Just think that forum scamming should be removed, and the offenders get a forum ban.

Don't repeated offenders get a warning as it is now?
Hey I can imagine a mistake, at worst two, but I absolutely agree that if someone is wretching the mechanics of the trade forums, divine intervention is in place.

Forum Scamming is LEGAL only punishment is the scam thread locked.
Exceptions?

Whats wrong with forum scamming? So far, scam topics have contributed absolutely NOTHING to the sell orders spam.
There is no reason to ban forum scams besides spam.

i want a ban on Forum scamming becase it has increased dramattically lately.
By removing them it will remove some of the clutter of the sell order forums.
Seeing as it takes only minutes now for a sell order to leave the front page, scam orders just add to the problem.
Personally, i wouldn't have posted about this if it wasn't for the unoriginality of many of the forum scammers. People that just copy-paste there scams, or the recent lotto scams...
Theres no risk to it on the forums, so i'd like to see it stopped.

ccp clamp down on scammers where it truly matters - they have zero tolerance on Account transfer scams and GTC scams of any sort.

I think there must be some limit... but I guess CCP is not worried about. In some countries, mine included, CCP is breaking some laws and it can be charged and someone can go to the jail for this

you'll notice that she hasn't been heard from in 4 or 5 days now... thats why :)
i think that once is ok, if it wasn't really a scam... hell, even if it IS a scam, doing it once is ok.
Its more the people that are doing it time after time after time.
I think you should get a warning the first time you scam.
Then if you scam agian within the next month, you get a month long forum ban.
if you scam AGIAN you get 2months.
3rd time and you get a permenent ban to the forums.
To clarify, this is ONLY FOR FORUM SCAMMING. if its in game, its fine, but forum scammers should be banned.

So because some people got scammed it's legal? Check out the link Terra Mauter posted. GTC scams are illegal. Other forms of scamming on the forums like ships/mods etc are tolerated.

i would not call that scamming.
Those are jokeposts / attention-seeking.
And if the mods had time to check, they could lock every single one for bumping (you are supposed to edit previous posts to answer questions).
