The Revelations 1.4.1 patch has been deployed and Tranquility has returned to service. If you have an issue after the deployment, please check the Known Issues page to see if the Dev Team is already aware of it and submit a bug report. If you are unsure of what has been changed in this patch, please take a look at the Patch Notes page.
Please keep feedback constructive and on-topic. Negative, spam or off-topic posts will be removed.
The Dev Team will be monitoring this thread throughout the next few days to keep abreast of the patch deployment and status.

If you think that with out russian language -will be play more players-you are very stupid people.Why you kick this language??? Only veterans dont want to have this language in this state,but noobs and people who don't know english well- can not play with out russian language . Only because that was russian language I and many another players started to play in this game. Why you listen veterans?!Why you don't listen noobs?! Veterans can play on english,but we CAN't!We want russian!
I hate this patch. Who wants-can play on english. We-not.
This is emotion. 
And this is resolution- Get back russian language, in this state in what it is.

The patch is build 31081, you should be able to find it on the patch download page.

Looks like the whole cache gets hosed this patch so if you're on a slow connection, be ready for a 2.1Mb download from the server on logging in. Can take a while.

We usually don't know what the final build will be until very late before the patch is deployed, so the build number on the patch notes page might not always be accurate. I have updated it now though.
If you go to the patch download page, select your current build (should be 30636), press find patch, you should get to the correct patch (for example).

The Russian language localization was in a pretty immature form and was apparently turned on by mistake. Just look at the comments in the EVE Localization Development and Discussion forum section.

The Russian translation was a work in progress that got out by mistake, which is why we are removing it in this patch. We are working hard to bring you a finished Russian translation interface as soon as possible.
We would appreciate it if you could help spread this message on the Russian forums.

This is a forum, and a lot of people here doesn't have English as their native language. So it doesn't really matter and whether or not you need to capitalize country names is off topic for this thread anyway.

I had that happen to me. I have an nVidia 7800 running SLI. I forced it to run my graphics settings in the setup page for the graphics properties. fixed it for the time being

Character sheet has some issues, rather than saying skill untrained, it says generic_ui_untrained or something similar. Known issues has some of the other minor defects.

Not sure if its related, but something that always puzzled me about mining crystal blueprints..
They don't have any waste even though with ME0 the blueprint lists 0.1 waste factor. The previous amount listed in material requirements for these blueprints was the same number listed in the item database (which represents a perfect build), and performing ME research, while this did decrease the "waste factor" listed on the blueprint, it did not decrease the material requirements at all. Maybe they tried to fix this and have unresearched blueprints actually have waste and it bugged somehow?

In British English I don't know of no 'capitalising' either - it's written with a 'z'. At least that's what I learned in school and what my dictionary says!

Startup seems to have been cancled... at least on my clients.. they are showing the "Unknown" status again..
I still don't understand "Why" they don't change the login msg box to something that could "aid" people who wonder why TQ isn't up... realy is it that hard to change?
90% of the community doesn't read the forum, and they won't know whats going on..

Agreed! Although from a dev standpoint, there may be a problem that prevents them from updating that portion of the window...

You know this kind of deflates my experience with this game...maybe I'm just in a bad mood. I set a skill that was up 10 mins ago thinking I had a couple hours to spare anyways,I guess I should have set a 3 day skill
This along with major lag issues,I'm starting to wonder if my money is better spent elsewhere

Well, to be fair, they DO recommend setting a long skill training. Don't set a skill to finish right after a patch, and don't log in straight away after a patch and change to a 10min skill.

On some services, they're nice enough to detract downtimes from the monthly subscription, and since we lose at lease 30 hours a month from downtimes, you would think we get a extra day on our subscriptions..

There has been more downtime in the 6 weeks or so that I've been playing Eve than there was in the 4 years of the previous online game I'd cancelled to sign up for this one... 
Has this always been the case here?

the "Known Issues" page still shows the known issues for Build 30636, does that mean that none of the issues that are on that page (with "Covert Ops, Stealth Bombers, Logistics and Recon ships can not be manufactured, this serious issue is being dealt with and will be fixed as soon as possible. " in particulair) are fixed in build 31081?

The amount of unscheduled downtime is ridiculous. If this was a real world business system they would all get sacked!
Definately ought to give us extra days on our subs, or just half their subs cost until they can give a proper service.
Don't see why we should pay so much for amateur hour service. Its like playing a beta.

well.. it IS in fact much of a beta since the game evolves... don't get me wrong as i'm annoyed by this as well... it always happens when i get home from work somewhat earlier
but, as well, from my point of view eve evolves a little too much over the last months.. some things never get fixed

Yay "not accepting connections"... shouldn't be long now... until we run into the next expoit/major bug that the Q&A have missed... i still wonder how they ever could miss the chat-bugs and the "stack" bug (thats still not fixed).. yes stack an item with the item-list on detail or list mode and watch what happens.. it takes the value of the starting items until you close/reopen your window... (hope they get it fixed now)
If i'm starting to get synical its because they STILL haven't changed the login-msg.

"very few" downtimes? What do you consider alot of downtimes? As for the free patches and new stuff... the last online game I'd played gave you both of those items and almost never had any downtime, period. I'm wondering if CCP has reached farther than they're capable of?

to all the blindness people here that say these downtimes are ok because of the free patches...today downtime it is not because of free new content, its because CCP QA sucks. QA at CCP sucks. Do you get it? Why I should bug report all the day instead of play the game? I work already 9 hours a day in RL. I dont want to bug report at home instead of play the game. You're most likely not stuck, with this many players logging on at the same time and everyone's client downloading more than the usual stuff, it can seem like you're stuck when you're actually loading really, really slow.

Thanks for hosing out the cache on this freaking patch.
I don't mind the downtime (the daily ones) cuz I'm asleep long before it happens and I get up LONG after it happens too.
I certainly somewhat mind patches, once a month patching or once every two months isn't that bad but having two patches in a billing cycle? Unannounced patch? Uncalled for... schedule it better please I don't pay to have two major downtimes and an extended down time... plus your market screwup the last patch caused some downtime.
We should be getting CREDIT for every SCREWUP CCP makes, not for the routine patch/downtimes.

I use avant browser, but that's pretty much IE.. Have you tried other browsers?

I'm clicking the link in your sig and trying to navigate to it from the side bar. Both have the "s" in it and neither work.

I should clarify. Since the bug reporting page cannot be navigated to while logged out (the option disappears from the sidebar when logged out) I used a bookmark to go to https://bugs.eve-online.com/ while logged out.

The patch had a negative effect on my framerates and I'm getting crashes to desktop for the first time. My FPS is 30-40 in station, 15-20 in space. I have a good system and a 258mb 7800go nvidia card.
Before Kali I got 150 FPS in station. But my FPS diminished with the upgrade and with each successive patch. Now, Eve is nearly unplayable.
I applied the advice in the boost FPS thread a long time ago and just rechecked it, along with my Nvidia settings. I also cleared my cache. No, or very little, improvement.
Is CCP going to fix this?

stacking still doesn't update pile sizes correctly.
btw: while talking about fps... many people still request a option for turning off starfield dots.. can't be a great thing to implement anyway. can we get that finally? pllllllllleeeeeeeaaaaaassssseee :-)

The "Known Issues" page hasn't been updated in a while.
- Stacks in your station hanger do not update when you split them;
- items won't stack in your ship cargo unless you drag-n-drop them.

Any chance of getting a tweak to the way that items are sorted in our station hangar? I like the new drop down selection list that lets us choose the item types we want to display - but - the new sort-ordering kind of stinks - sorry guys, gotta give it a thumbs down.
I liked the way that items were sorted pre-patch. I dont remember the name of the column that you could sort order items by, but it was the third column in the list display, right after the quantity. (from left to right)
If you sorted by this column, all of your cans were placed at the top of your sort order - and all of your skillbooks were sorted at the bottom.
This was incredibly useful since many of us use cans to organize our loot - the new patch probably wont change this for me as I like to have my named mods ready to move...
Also, it was nice to be able to rapid scroll to the bottom to get to your skill books.
I know that the new drop down selection tools will probably allow us to select cans or skill books only (havent tried this yet and Im at work), but It seems like an extra step to do what we could do before.
Just my 2 bits/rupees/rubles worth...

Ok, here's a stealth change. If you warp and don't have the cap to make it all the way to your destination, you'll automatically start a new warp as soon as you drop out of your "short" warp.

This was happening to me as well.
Also, when the FCK are they gonna fix that stacking bug? That's worse than the blinking evemail bug. Also, how dumb do you have to be to not catch this bug in development??? Do you guys even TEST this stuff? I'm not generally one to criticize CCP because I think they generally do more good than bad, but this is one ridiculous bug.

Takes 22 Days to do Material Research to ME9 - this is on par with Battleship BPO research and not with module research.

Rig BPOs (tech 1) do not show up in the list of "Corp Blueprints" on the Science & Industry tab.
Negligence
The Known Issue page's auto update feature is broken.
Possible bugs - not sure
Prototype Cloaking Device 1 BPO requires Tech 2 style components for ME research.
When you sort the "corp blueprints" into ML on the Science & Industry screen it doesn't sort them all correctly. It seems to sort to a degree and then start again at 0 further down.

When does CCP intend to update the item database on the EVE website?
Im just wondering as it's downtime and I figured I'd have a look at mineral requirements on scanning probes. You have the recon probes, but not exploration. Then checked to see if the Myrmidon was there. Which it isnt
Not complaining at all, just interested to know if you're gonna update it?
As for Revelation and EVE in general... Still love it!! Please keep up the good work!!
