Seems it was needed, apparently people we able to manufacture crystal BP's for no material cost, and there were apparently some char sheet bugs.

this is indeed not a crash, people got decent time to scoop things and get their asses safe.
what i "heard" was some market issues and lets hope the server will be back asap

erm, i see 13k players online, am i the only one thats having trouble connecting to eve, if the servers still down why are there 13k players on, could just be jita lag i guess ¼¼

Well, you know how CCP handles revolts. I guess if we could see into the CCP office now, we would see 25 server hamsters pinned to the wall
