Firstly appologies if this is the wrong forum and sorry if there's another thread on this I couldn't see one.
Is anyone else getting a weird bug with the latest patch whereby warp tunnels appear before you even enter warp and they don't dissapear until you're fully at your next object? It's really iritating.
If this is an inteded feature: wtf? It looks weird... (No offence intended).

Seen this a few times when I undock with the star map open, or initiate warp with the map open, then close it while warp is ongoing. Usually the warp tunnel looks different too, with obvious artifacts at the forward end.
I've found that opening and cloning the F10 map while stopped somewhere in space can resolve the issue, as well as relogging.

I only got this with Vista... another Vista caused bug?

Not really likely, but possibly a driver or graphics API incompatiblity.

It happens every now and then and can easily be started by opening the map in station and undocking, though it can happen even if the map was closed. Use to be the way to get black space, may still be able to do it.

I had this several times before the patch. Sometimes happens just after undocking, after closing starmap. I can get it to go away but opening and closing the starmap normally, but other than it requires a relog...
