VeNT Minmatar Freelancer Union Unaffiliated	Posted - 2007.04.04 11:02:00 - [1] I've been around here a while now, VeNTs' bithdate is 17/05/2003 and I played the beta for over a year before then, and one thing has always struck me about CCP - their commitment to the comunity. more so than 99% of the other mmo operators out there they talk to the comunity, or at least used to. we've got our blogs and our forum posts, out petitions and our bug reports but theres something thats fallen by the wayside in recent months devchat theres very little that can keep a comunity feeling in touch with the devs more than having a chat online with them (even if it is by proxy), being able to ask questions, voice ideas, find out what TomB really has been doing etc makes the comunity feel more part of the evolutionary processes for EVE We're told that the comunity made EVE what it is today, that the comunity is the real driving force of EVE and I think thats true! I feel that CCP could get an even BETTER insight into what the comunity feels about EVE if they started doing regular devchats again! or am I just nostalgic? -------------------- Selena 001 > has VeNT left system? its gone really quiet!

The reason they've stopped is because no one has organized them. Still, it's a great idea if some neutral type entity can pull it off. Is there even such a person in EVE? Sonmeone capable of objectively viewing all sides concerns? A flamefest or fanboy attempt would pretty much be useless.
