It's been almost two days since the patch, and I still can't connect to Eve. Server status is listed as "Unknown", as I get the following error when trying to connect:
"Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."
I managed to download the latest patch just fine, but that's as far as I get. Judging by the lack of similar complaints, I'm guessing I must be the only one dealing with this issue. For the record, the game worked fine before the patch, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Did you try ping IP address 87.237.38.200?
If youre getting bad ping or total loss of packages, could be your firewall needs checking if it blocks port 26000 and/or if it even has it forwarded/open.
If all that checks out, only thing I can suggest is to deinstall the game, delete leftover directory, install the game fresh and update it.
If even then you have problems, man thats a tough one.

I have the same problem. No firewall, ping is ok, other pc in the same network can connect only the stupid laptop cannot! I disabled all other connections (wlan and vpn) and set the priority in the connection options. But it doens't work any better. Laptop cannot connect to EVE, only sometimes, maybe the moon shines or whatever :(

I also have the same problem. It was working fine yesterday morning, and after I logged out I haven't been able to log in again. I always get an "Unknown" server status and I can't connect after hitting connect. My firewall/router settings are fine. Reinstalling EVE and clearing my cache and I still have the same problem. The log server says error 10060 when it tries to connect to the server on port 26000.
