Weekdays = small skirmishes put towers into reinforced
weekends = forum whoring, blobs, lag
plz plz change so there is a 1-2day cap on how long towers can be in reinforced. that way towers put in reinforced in weekdays actually has to be killed in weekdays. defenders has to stay close to their shipyards and attackers has to stay close aswell giving the defenders chance to kill of the attackers.
this is better then the english chivalry type of warfare atm. "James - Lets meet up in xz-7yz in 4 days for some tee and some lagg bring your own blob"
that said lets see what this easter will have for us =)

They have to do agent missions during the week so they can support all their losses during the weekends 
And teatime is every day at 17 o'clock, no fighting during teatime!

Nah, its just the coalition enjoys the lag (== reimbursement), so they only play during the weekend.
Also, i heard MC report that the roids are bigger during the weekend.

of course rl things is important.. but these days the attackers actually dotn haev to stick around in teh same region even.. they can jsut go in blobb put towers into reinforced then 4-5 days later return for the laggfest durign the weekend.
if the towers only had 2 days of reinforced max they have to stick around with the attack force instead of retreating into homespace.
ok people would prolly loose alot more towers but damn it would be more fun and lead to more skirmish warfare where you coudl attack entire regions and put alot of towers into reinforced and teh defenders woudl haev difficulty to defend em all. noew with good management you can set stront levels so you haev time to save most of em.

what annoys ME is when people complain about the only real part of the sov system that i like.
either way, you can't get 4 days in a tower. two or three, but if you reduced that people would just hit them on thursday or friday

I say do away with reinforced mode altogether. It only promotes the blob warfare CCP claims to want to discourage. Give towers and poses enough hit points to survive several hours of heavy bombardment so a defense can be mounted but this magic "can't touch me" mode is stupid.

max stront you can fit comfortable is about 2 1/2 to 3 days. You can do more, but you risk the POS going offline if you do.
1 pilot with starbase rights is currently needed IN the system at the POS to change stront levels. This means that it cannot be done remotely. (which i agree with)

it would force people to keep less strontium in the POS, which i could be fine with. but micromanaging strontium is very important. if people cannot have something come out in their primetime they will often have to hope to defend.

You're all wrong. The real reason is we really actually prefer going to the pub and all the smack and forum whorage is people either A) Drunk/High or B) Hungover/Comedown.
Generally most people realise it is not advisable to enter the game in such a state. Most do anyway but resign themselves to following someone else around because thinking, quite frankly is much too difficult, i've got a head ache, go away, leave me alone...

About the whole once cycle Pos thing. That is part of the problem. So far in this war we have had 2 fiascos becuase of blobbage, blobbage which is directly caused by the ability to once cycle towers. 1/4 of the coalition dreads ever managed to fire on the POS in f-t. The leadership knew that the server situation was going to be that bad, so they had to throw 200 dreads at it, which in turn created more lag. It's a vicous cyclce that needs to be stopped.
Right now, if you are attacking a strategicaly important POS, you have to throw 1k + attakcers at it in the hopes of 100 making it in. with the threat of 1k attackers, defenders have to blob even more, which makes lag worse. This war hasn't even gotten started yet. It will only get worse until CCP overhauls the pos system.
I wish I had the answers, until then, i'll pay someone who can fix the problem (CCP) to fix them.
