Do mission enemies really need to destroy 60% of my missiles? Getting very tiring =-/

60 % - thats nothing  Wait till lvl 5 missions come out and they destroy 90-100% of your Phoenix's citadel torpedos.

Thats problem with Overpowered NPCs. Thay ECM is stronger then any faction, their nos is stronger and have greater range then any faction, their dampening is also stronger then any faction modules we can have. And their defenders are also ultimate for numbers and strebght. 1hit torpedos ftw.

Guns have allready place in missions, their problem is only tracking, so if you fit for sniping and rats get too close... Missiles have diferent disadvantage, speed, signature and defenders.
But realy ship shooting 20+ defenders (they have percentage chance shooting your missiles so if they have say 50% and you fire 8 missiles, they destroy 4, if you use 20 ships each shooting 8 missiles, it still destroy 50% of them thats 4x20=80 defenders )

This can be easily solved with the simple tactic of closing range with the NPC in question. Defenders take about 5-10 seconds to sort themselves, and they zoom all over the damn place, so if you fire at the NPC with a missile flight time of less than 5 seconds, you're missiles won't be affected.

i know guns have a "place" in missions, but everyone was caldari hungry because they use missiles werent they ? atleast thats what i always thought :P tho im a nub and could be wrong

Oh realy ? Drake is ship with lowest DPS compared to any other BC/BS and defenders are realy not helping. And missiles are most expensive and most cargospace intensive ammo.

Yeah us Drake pilots got Low DPS by far, but on the plus side we got a tank thats far superior than most. I just hope that CCP will make it so one day those rats will run out of ammo and cap, so we can you know actually kill them after outlasting them

Low dps eh, maybe you should try doing lvl 4s in a Hurricane or Harbinger, they have good dps, maybe you'll catch a clue about balance...
