Sorry but WoW is the most un-griefable game ever. If you do manage to find something that is griefable you'll prob get a temp ban for the remainder of the trial. --------

I tried it a while ago. Uninstalled it after 2 hours. Seriously, quests to find 5 scorpion tails after you got a quest to get 5 boar skins? Nuts to that

I played wow since release, with breaks from time to time and i can say that the qouted poster is assuming correctly. -YOU ARE NOW READING MY SIGNATURE-
EVE is like the "Fisherman's Friend" of MMOs. If it's too hard, you are too weak. |

Best thing is when you need to get about 10 heads from something, and the drop rate is about 1 in 20. I mean please make the quests realistic, everquest2 managed to do it.
edit: also in a pc gamer I got recently they had the best ways to greif, some WoW ones were there but were pretty lame. --------

fixed it for you, those ideas are from this months issue of pc gamer uk

The last time WoW amused me (other than the Internet is for **** vid) was the video of a player summoning it's pet in one of the cities. The problem was that the pet has been rigged to explode by a NPC in an instance. Blizzard corrected this "bug" quickly. Damn them.
The massive death that ensued was beautiful. Corpes everywhere...but since it is WoW, they all pretty much went right back to business after a quick trip to the cemetary.
As for lag, when 500 Alliance decided to raid Origammar on a Sunday, it is worse than Jita.
bah, WoW sucks.

Tried WOW
Got my toon to level 5
Said 'I don't want to do this **** for another 60 levs'
Logged off.
Uninstalled WOW.
The game can be fun for some people (and it is fun for a freaking lot of people it seems ) But I had my share of camping in EQ... never again. ------------------------ I don't believe in sigs. |

The worst would be to bring Barrens chat to Eve and randomly shout Chuck Norris crap in local chat at every warp gate you jump to.

Well i'm gonna be the "one" here then...*ahem*
If you go out and get a trial just to grief someone(like follow them and ask for g-g), then you're a moronic kid who deserves to be banned from MMO's alltogether. SImple as that, there's no excuse for the behaviour.
WoW quests compared to EVE missions? I wouldn't be so hasty on judging the "get 10 heads" quests when you take a look at getting from level 1 to level 3 missions.
"Go there, kill those(a), come back, go there, kill THOSE(b), come back, go there...remember last mission? Good, you'll love this then, kill those(a)...yes they came...back...clones..you know...never learn..."
WoW community and the "kids", there's no more kids there then there are here. In percentual means that is. I've seen a plenty and many kids around these parts too, people who get whiney over anything and everything. I've seen more mudpooslinging in here then in Wow. It's all a hype really.
WoW is honestly not as bad as the clonefighters want you to believe. But if you believe the hype, then you'll ocourse take that way about it.
It's more an roleplayng game(try a PVPRP server, that's awhole different game), more storybased(yes still lacking since it's an MMO) and yes maybe not that punishing. But you know what, sometimes it's a real pain that EVE is such a hardcore mode too. Sometimes you want to have FUN.

I kept trying to explain, but of course you have to press enter before you type anything, and I kept forgetting, so instead I happily typed away pressing all the shortcut keys. So instead of making a reasoned reply, I opened my character sheet, changed my screen resolution to 320 x 240, took off all my clothes, cast a spell on a tree, attacked that tree, then logged off.
Apparently.
Someone omgrawr this.
The only thing I thought was mildly amusing when I played was summoning doomguards/infernals on my warlock in the open towns like goldshire, gets old really fast though, and you won't be able to do it.

On the topic of this thread, I have a little bit of advice for all people trying WoW.
Play as a female character. Pretend to be female.
The amount of respect you will get, along with the amount of free stuff and help on quests, will make you very very happy
