i remember reading somewhere on the forums that having hight (i don't remember if it was standing faction or corp standing) granted you rights to something , i know this is a very broad question but if someone could enlighten me that'd be great as i'm running for hight standings (something like an aggent offer in space for a navy issue ship or something at 8.2 and a few other highter standings)
no i'm not talking about regular LP offers from agents

Edited by: Marquis Dean on 06/04/2007 23:51:31 If you have +8.0 standing with a corp, you can create a jumpclone in one of their stations with a medical facility. You can them move those clones wherever.
If you have +8.0 (I think), you can set up a POS in their hisec (0.5-0.8 only).
If you have very high standings with a faction (extremely high, 9.5 or similar), then talking to certain COSMOS agents will yield faction ship BPCs, and various other things.

Your corp needs (SEC_STATUS * 10) faction standing to anchor a POS in empire space afaik.

the faction is the only requirement right? no need to run missions with them or anything?
is it traded for tags or minerals or is it just a freebie from the faction?

I don't know. I've never got my faction standing above 3.5, so I haven't been able to test it out.

What he says. You will need the faction standing and some tags (e.g. gurista gold tags, diamond tags etc.). For example: Caldari State Standing: with 9.6 you get a hookbill 2 run bpc somewhere around 9.8 gives you a navy caracal 2 run bpc 9.9 gives you a raven navy issue and 9.99 gives you a raven state issue
there are rumours, that when you have a standing of around 10 with the corp you are working for, you might gate rare offers of corporation shares of that corp (e.g. Lai Dai shares), but can't confirm that for sure.

To be honest i don't care much about reputation in forums
But to be more precise:
9.9: Raven Navy Issue BPC, 2 runs 9.99: Raven State Issue BPC, Material Lvl 20, Productivity Lvl 8, one Licenced Production Run

Do you even know what a Raven State Issue is?

Edited by: Washell Olivaw on 07/04/2007 12:41:16 Raven state, Imperial Apocalypse, Federation Mega, etc are all ships that were given out at special events. The only way of getting them now is prying them from the cold dead fingers of their current owners or hoping for a new event with those ships as a prize.
Getting 9.99 faction standing will give you quite a bit LP and ISK. It will not reward you with one of these ships.

The State Raven, formally known as Corvus, was only available as a reward from tournaments. However, this was changed recently. Not only the name was changed from Corvus to Raven State Issue, but also the description and the way you get that Ship. However, a state standing of 9.99 is very hard to get, only a few people in eve will have it - if at all, so you won't see that ship that often, not to say you don't see it at all.

What agent or agents are you people talking about ? Would talking to him or them to early result in the agent not giving these ship rewards ? The rest is irrelevant *snip* - Image not appropriate for eve-o forums - hutch

Mate, you're wrong. Either you're trying to stir or you're an idiot, either way, shut up.

On another note, I notice Castra also claimed to have heard rumors of NPC corp shares for people with 10.0 standing with the corp.. any non-noob missionrunner knows this is impossible to reach. Sure, it may eventually round the display up to 10 but you'll still be at 9.999-something.
The 4th special BS would be Tribal Issue Tempest, aka Storm.

Well, taking the security status as an example, you can get it so that it rounds (actually in the Eve db) to 10.0 (well, in the example I'm using, -10.0). Ask Tiller. He was immensely proud of that.
And Casta Noor is totally full of ****.

Indeed he does however it is not an actual "10.0" per se but merely 9.999999 etc rounded up.
CCP and Eve Online... It's not a bug, it's a feature
