What is the longest range you HAM users have gotten?
Please post ship/fitting/rigs please.
Thanks.

I think a max skilled Cerberus can fire HAMs out to 40km. I'm not sure though. Fitting is irrelevant with missiles since there are no mods that increase missile velocity/flight time.

Don't have Ham trained up yet, but I read on these forums that T2 precision HAMs on a cerb hit 80km no problem. Your signature is inappropriate. Please email us with a link to your signature to find out why. -Elmo Pug ([email protected]) |

A max skilled Nighthawk with precision HAMs and 3x BCUs will have the ability to shoot past 50km and do close to or over 400DPS.

Yep. And a nighthawk with rage HAMs can break 600 DPS at point-blank.
That said, the cerb gets a truly ridiculous range with javelin HAMs, so that's the ship the original poster is looking for. Hell, the cerb can hit out to 30km with tech 1 HAMs and no rigs. -Wrayeth "Look, pa! I just contributed absolutely nothing to this thread!"

rigs?
I did some math a few months ago in another thread and a max skilled Cerb can put Jav HAMs out past 160km IIRC

Edited by: Doodmann on 10/04/2007 19:58:40 Interesting stuff considering I just acquired a Cerb. This may be my new solo weapon with T2 HAMS. If Javelins truly can hit to 160km, I would think the sacrificed range of T1 ammo and added DPS would be nice for freeing up pg/cpu for a nice tank/tackle/AB. Too bad im at work and cant check the fitting reqs for Heavy versus Heavy Assault launchers as the DB doesnt contain said info for the Heavy Assaults.

With a passive targeter Cerb would be pretty hilarious for taking out n00bies who don't know to warp out when a HAC jumps into their ratting/mining belt.

I can chuck a ham a good 10 feet, before I hit a wall. Damned walls.

If Cerb is out of your price/skill range, the Gila can toss HAMs pretty far. Why there should be a breathalyzer to login to Eve:

No, I have one. Its just that I don't want to use it in a fleet the way so many do. I think the HAM fitting could do well solo.
I'll post back with my findings.
