Why is it that it's more difficult to find labs atm them prior to Shiva (Exodus), they took so long to fix it and now it's all the same, with the difference that we can deploy a pos with a 90m mobile lab to research a 200k bpo.

If you are talking ME slots you can also contact one of the multiple PC-run corps and alliances that have POSs setup in empire. Most of their rates are reasonable if you don't want to wait for 35+ days to get a slot in empire....

or do what I did, after you're done with your BPOs rent the slots out yourself. I rented my free slots to several friendly corps, paid for the POS fuel and then some, plus I got to run off free BP copies from their BPOs (and they had some good stuff too)

We rent out lab slots in the Metropolis region, and I guess our average wait times are about 2-3 days. Look up my corp info in game for terms and prices if you need a slot

And may I say, Thank you to CCP for giving dedicated players a way to provide essential infrastructure for others. This situation was MUCH worse before higher-sec POS's were in-game. Now those who have the resources can bypass the queue, which reduces the time for everyone else who don't have the resources.
Yeah, you can set up your own POS and research your own bpos, and then sell access to those slots. Or you can pay someone for access to their slots. It can actually be cheaper than what happened under the old model of slotsquatting, AND you know that the service provider has actually worked to provide the service. Not just docked one day to find a free slot, then advertised it for 10 or 20 mill ISK (or whatever it was back in the day).

Why should you have to trust other people with your hard earned bpo's, when you can join my alliance (instant approval) and do your own research with your own bpo's never ever leaving your hangar.
Zzz currently offers free alliance entrance and are currently offering a 50% discount on all research. Not only that, C-R-A (pos owner corp) is the largest and oldest public research corporation in Eve (over 6 months old), with 2 towers (third being deployed in 1-2 weeks), and approximately 30 free slots right this second.
Our pricing already beat most of the competition, and this was not counting the 50% off deal we currently have.
