I mean, he was one of the richest and most powerful industrialists in teh game.. many of us looked up to him. I have not seen hide-nor-hair of him in a loong time.
Did he quit?

Remember the devblog about an ISK selling ring involving lots and lots of highly profitable T2 BPOs?
Dr Scope disappeared quite mysteriously around the time of that blog, and has not been seen since.
Some of us suspect a connection

Actually, he was seen in the blueprint channel shortly after that happened. Mentioned something about a "misunderstanding and proving himself". Not sure what happened after that.

actually i think it was the cloak bpo cartel guy who got banned, anyone seen him recently? naal murano or something similar sounding.

Yes, Naal is 'the cloaky orchastrator'...  Always loved that phrase,, I hope he didn't get whacked with the Ban stick. =/ But,, come to think of it,, he has been really quiet lately too....
