hi, i am pretty new, but i have chosen ammar, even though the general opinion is they suxorz?
i find them fun, the ships nice, and the lasers....they ore ok.
what i really want to know, i se a vid of how they sound/animates when cruisersized and larger?
i know it dont effect gameplay, but it keeps me playing if i like the animations and soundeffects.

yes different lasers have different sounds and animations the color of the beam is modified by the cristal you put into it though.
So have fun with em :)

thanks for the reply :D enen though i knew that...
i was just wondering of the sounds/animations gets better when the gun gets bigger?
if i can make my dream come true, and ge tmy ray of destruction :D *dr. evil laugh

im not sure about sounds, but i know the looks get better. on frigs they are weak little puny things. on battleships they are aweome cylindars of doom :-)

There are a few guns in EVE with truly earthshaking sounds. Chief among these are 250mm railguns, 1400mm artillery cannons, and tachyon beams. That last one is, of course, a battleship sized laser. Just wait until you hear it.

The Focused Pulse/Beam FX's are mixed up since Beta 
But ill write how lazorz look/sound
-Quad Beam: Four small beams and one bugged beam after that, very weak "plop sound"
-Focused/Heavy Pulse: Pew Pew Pew (good FX/Sound)
-Focused/Heavy Beam: Swosch (mediocre)
Dual heavy Pulse/Beam: Peeeew Peeeew (mediocre and lazy)
Mega Pulse: *Chaaaarge-PEW* (quality effect/sound)
Mega Beam: SHOOOSH
Tachyion: SHOOOOOOOOOOOSHH
Dual Giga Pulse/Beam: Lag is so hard at a Pos that you will turn off effects and sound and never see it . But they are disappointing. The Giga Blasters have +500% Coolness though.
