Can you use Maintenance Bot's on yourself? Or are they only usable on someone else?
And if so, How do you let them repair you? They need an active target to be asigned to and afaik you can't target your own ship.

Maint Bots cannot repair their controlling player.

Have to figure out a way to target yourself to give them the order to engage. Knowing drones it'll be the the order they'll never fail at carrying out.

combat drones I agree, repair drones will fly off to repair the target you are shooting at

If the repairing drone is smaller and faster than the drone being repaired, yes.
