These numbers could be tweaked but you get the gist.
Declaring war on a corp 1-10 players û 200mil a week. Declaring war on corp 11-100 players û 100mil a week. Declaring war on corp 101-1000 players - 50 mil a week.
Declaring war on a alliance 1-5 corps û 40mil a week. Declaring war on alliance 6-11 corps û 30 mil a week. Declaring war on alliance 12-1000 corps - 20 mil a week.
2 entities agree to war with each other - Free.
Reasoning: This works out for everyone. Making small corps more expensive creates more deterrent for harassment. While decreasing the cost to declare on large alliances creates more targets at less overall cost. This also adds more incentive to stick with a smaller groups. |

Im totally opposite on this. I think it should be the other way around if this were to come into effect. Large the corp/alliance, the more expensive. You are messing up 1-5 peoples game experiance vs messing up 3000 peoples.
I also think the ammount of wars should either be limited to an alliance, or be exponientally greater for everyone you add. Say to war dec a corp is 10mil. Corps 1-3 are all 10 mil, then corp 4 is 40mil, corp 5 is 50mil, 6 is 60mil, ect, ect.
Being able to war dec 100+ corps/alliances is total crap. Basicly empire space has become unusable to people in alliances due to privateers, and many people have even quit eve all together due not not being able to play with their long time friends and live in empire. So i think if an alliance wants to have 100+ war decs, they should dish out 50-100bil isk+ a week.

whyd o I get the feeling this guy is in a 2 man corp and got beat up my some ebil piwates ;P
No way should there be a disadvantage for being in a large corp. Should be an advantage, if there is a difference... especially with people like privateers out there.

Actually large alliances are still at an advantage. They have the man power and resources to stand up to privateers. They have ships with jump drives. What does the little guy have? not a lot. |

If that's true then good. I will also add that if they are infact changing the war system then now is the best time for suggestions. A suggestion wouldn't be very good if they had no plans of changing it... now would it? |

I'd suggest something entirely different, but kind of similar, and I will give my reasoning.
Declaring war on a corp (the same goes for an alliance declaring on a corp) : 0-10 members more or less than you: 2m per week : 11-20 members more or less than you: 10m per week : 21-50 members more or less than you: 50m per week : 51-100 members more or less than you: 100m per week : 101+ members more or less than you: follows alliance costs below
Declaring war on an alliance (the same goes for a corp declaring on an alliance) : 0-100 members more or less than you: 100m per week : 101-500 members more or less than you: 200m per week : 501-1000 members more or less than you: 300m per week : 1001-2000 members more or less than you: 400m per week : 2001-3000 members more or less than you: 500m per week : 3001+ members more or less than you: 750m per week
This will help to limit harrassment, while letting like sized corps/alliances take on the people that they should be taking on, based on size. Granted, a large alliance could still declare war on a very small corp, say with 3000 members less than them, but it would cost them quite a bit to maintain the war for long.
Likewise it would also cost those little ****-ant corps a ****load of ISK to declare against an alliance. Not to say that it would be impossible, but makes it less likely.
I don't know how practical this would be, if at all, but it would be nice if you could declare against a specific corp in an alliance, with a special war declaration...so that if someone wronged you, you could get your corp to declare a special war declaration against the offending corp, and the alliance wouldn't be involved, unless they opted INTO the war on their own, as an alliance. That would allow squabbles between two corps to be resolved without affecting an alliance as a whole.

I kind of like how your numbers push for a balanced fight. Good suggestion. Sadly I don't think the targeting of specific corps within the alliance will work because of the idea of a "FDP" Full Defensive Pact.

Privateers dont add flavor, they add out of alliance alts and are just plain annoying. People are literally quititng eve because of them. I ave zero respect for them and wish highly that they stop hurting the game. Ni4Ni Join Ni4Ni Today! Public Channel: Ni4Ni |

People quit eve for getting scammed, shot at in lowsec, getting podded on a bad day, getting bored, a certain BPO incident, etc.
Of course these have existed before the privateers well not the BPO related one anyways
