Find out which display adapater you have
Desktop > right click my computer > system properties > hardware > device manager > disaplay adapter
Update the drivers for the device likely to be either www.nvidia.com for geforce *.* or www.ati.com for radeon *.*
Find out which direct X version your running
Start > run > Dxdiag
Update to 9.0 or later.
-
Would suggest cleaning cache but its a recent install so more likely to be a software issue is it only eve that messes up or other games as well?

A VANTA?
Are you serious
You're using a card that was designed as a budget version of a the Riva TNT, the card designed to compete with the 3DFX Voodoo 2.
You need to upgrade out of the stone age, I can't imagine what processor you're using with that

Wow,
I actually had to luck up what Vanta was seems its a budgit version of the TNT series.
The software isn't the issue me thinks in this case, Not too sure your hardware is capable of running eve-online, haven't told that to anyone in a very long time.
Out of interest what operating system are you using and how long have you had the computer?

Nice, looks a bit retro with different colour shades,
As DS suggested do it may be time to upgrade your hardware atleast with technology in the 21st century

Your Vanta likely doesn't have enough memory to display the text

Throw your current laptop in the bin? That's about the only option.
