Hey everyone. Epix Riker here.
I just got the skills finished and the money to finance a Heavy Assault Cruiser. What is the best one to get for an Amarrian and how do I fit it up to be wicked? Thanx for the posts!

4x Heavy pulse II 1x med nos II
10mn AB II 20km disruptor 90% web
MAR II 2x EANM II 1x faction energized thermal 1x damage control II 1x true sansha heat sink 1x beta CPR
1x energy turret damage 1x cap rig or something
This is what I will use on my zealot. Replace the web with a sensor booster and upgrade to T2 disruptor for gate camping.

For PVE, get a Sacrilege.
For PVP, get a Zealot. ----------------
If you're on IE, pretend this is transparent while you get a browser that supports .png. |

wrong, just get zealot :P
Zealot owns at PvE, it can easily tank everything and does loads more damage than a sacriledge.

Except Sacrilege has a better tank, and can vary damage far greater than a Zealot.
3 launchers and a drone bay make the Sac far superior to the Zealot unless you're only going against Bloods and Sansha's, which is impossible to guarantee unless you're merely belt ratting. ----------------

what he said, and better tank doesn't matter.
Zealot can tank pretty much anything beltrats can throw at it.

Edited by: Linavin on 10/04/2007 00:58:29 I use
4x Heavy Pulse II AB II, Web, Disruptor MARII, Energized Adaptive Nano II, Damage Control II, Thermal Hardner (faction passive or active, dosen't matter too much), 2x Heatsink IIs, 800mm rolled tungsten
The plate give you a buffer for any slopy piloting errors you make, getting you hit with way more than you can tank (like that 6 BS group you accidentally aggroed in a deadspace) as well as staying power in pvp when you get shot up or get nos'd. For the thermal hardner I use an active faction 55% to match the active Damage Control. You can switch out the active thermal and damage control for a faction energized and EANM if you want to go full passive, for whatever reason, without affecting the resistances much.
In my opinion you don't need a nos or cap stuff, your setup should be moderatley sustainable for a few minutes with proper cap skills (and you sould be flying evasively as to avoid the heavy battleship fire in the first place). And in pvp a cap relay and nos probably wont make you any less nos resistant, so why bother fitting a nos when you can fit a plate and get 6000 armor.

Yeah, tell that to all those nice Gist battleships. I've had far more luck with a sac than a zealot, and I have pants missile skills. ----------------
